It is present in the Howrah Maidan, the heart of Howrah District. It contains Shoping Mall, BBQ Nation & Food Court in a single building. The area is too much overcrowded.

You'll have all in one place..baazar Kolkata, trends, mio amore, fbb, sreeleathers, khadim, M baazar & many more reputed garments store, shoe-shop, confectionery store, jewelry store etc . There are also uncountable fast food store which make the place attractive. Street collections are also very cheap & superior. Even though it is a wide place it seems crowded.

Howrah maidan now become more important place because here is Metro station it will be soon starting. It's connect Howrah and Kolkata under Hooghly Revar.

Too much congested area. Specially local shops and vendors are really aggressive. They don't want to give space for walking or passage for vehicles. It seems metro station at howrah maidan is a waste. The vendors occupied entry area to metro. In office time, you can assure that everyday there will be several incidents. Also the whole area is covered with garbages.

Complete chaos and lawlessness. Hawkers have reduced the pavement to a single person passage at their mercy. And another set of hawkers line the side of the street compelling pedestrians to walk on the road itself where buses, autos, totos and all types of vehicles ply in single, snail pace line. Although GT Road is one way, totos and autos ply in the wrong direction at their will. Police and civic volunteers stand doing nothing other than extorting hafta from the errant totos, autos. None of the stores and shops are visible from the road as the hawkers have covered everything with cheap, highly inflammable plastic sheets and loose electrical cables hanging overhead. It's a situation ready for a massive disaster but no one, either the police and administration, the hawkers or the shoppers have any care.
