Hotel Shiv Palace - Hotel in Ujjain - Ujjain, India

Location is far. If Bhasm Arati is to be attended, it should be near to temple but this is a bit far. Far from the various must visit places in Ujjain. Staff is good and cooperative but Service are too slow, May be newly started.

The bed linens had stains, the sofa had dirt all around the edges, no washbasin towels were there. The very first day there was one water bottle provided in the room, the next day I asked for two bottles of water. During checkout I was charged for 2 bottles Rs 50/_ extra What's the fuss? On asking the receptionist he said if you had asked for RO water it wouldn't have been charged. It is implied when there is no water jug in the room, wAter bottles would be provided, which was given on first day. Then there is no question of providing RO water. I assume and I have widely traveled in such grades of hotels, where water bottles are provided free of cost (daily 2 litres). I didn't want to have tussle with the receptionist so didn't argue with him. The 2nd I.e. on6th, my driver was cleaning the car, and he asked the guys there to provide water pipe which was already lying there. The guys told they would spray the water on car, they did it And at the end they came to my room and were asking for 200/- to clean the car. A weird experience I informed the receptionist there, he told me , he would look into the matter with their staff. Never recommend to anyone No photos with me At checkout when I complained about the stained bed linens, the guy told me " you should have informed me, I would have replaced them" When a customer is paying @2500/- a day, do you expect this? Is it not the responsibility of the hotel staff to examine the room prior to checkin of the guests?

We have booked 3 Rooms. Rooms were not so clean, No Curtain on Window. Thought required many times, we got the curtains in evening only. Full day the sunlight and heat entered the room . TV was there but no remote to operate it. They were able to provide only one Remote for 3 rooms.

A nice hotel with well behaved staff but some issues regarding room service. Comb, tooth brush, tooth paste, shampoo are not given.

Horrible experience. Poor maintenance of rooms, ACs are not working, toilets without seats above all arrogant staff. I had to leave the hotel the next morning to find another suitable option.

Stay was fine. The staff was supportive. Food a bit expensive but ok Connectivity to mahakal temple and other places is manageable.max 15-20 mins

Worst Hotel I Have Ever Seen In my Life, The Management Is Totally Devasted. The Person Who Is MD I Suppose Is Very Arrogant and Unhelpfull. His behavior Is The Worst. All Our Programs Got Late Because of Their Management. They Have Only One Boy In The Whole Hotel For Everything You Ask Them To Do. They Are Just Troublemakers. Dont Ever Book This Venue For Once In A Lifetime Functions Like Marriages etc..

Top floor room have very great view in morning . Even have tables for night party. Supply there own shampoo soap moisturizer.
