The stay was pleasant. Staff was courteous and helpful. Free pickup and drop really eases your travel. Complimentary breakfast also adds value and time saving in your travel. Power cut was easily handled by some backup generator or inverter ..not sure but bottom line they have something. The only issue I faced was the room, it had absolutely no ventilation. This caused lack of fresh air and high humidity. Also the rooms were quite small which to some extent is manageable.

The owner is an extremely knowledgable person and it is truly a pleasure to talk to him, do not miss the opportunity to interact with him! The hotel manager is a friendly person who can arrange your rental scooter in an extremely short time at competitive rates. If you are a budget traveller looking for value for money, this is the place to be. When i visited in Sept 2018, the rooms were a bit old, especially the bathroom which had a small leak but however a new wing with new rooms and re-furnishing was underway.

The hotel has free pickup and drop service from Port Blair Airport. Position of this hotel is good. Most of the attraction are around 2km from this hotel. The property have food service facilities and two restaurants also nearby. There is no lift and the facilities and rooms are in 2nd and 3rd floors. There is another road from the back side of this property which is wheelchair accessible for 2nd floor and also wheel chair accessible parking also.

It is worth your money. It is located at a good place, just next to a local market and close to Aberdeen Market as well. It has all the basic amenities and the owner is very helpful. The hotel does not have its own restaurant as of now but you will find pocket friendly as well as high end options nearby. They will expand soon and will probably open their own restaurant soon. The place has frequent power shortages but that is the case with the entire place. When asking for the place mention Doodhline Market. It has more recognition.

Well maintained rooms, washrooms with facilities like AC, geyser. Budgeted stay. Accessible from major tourist places of port Blair. Also very close from airport. Owner is very cooperative. If you are looking for budgeted hotel then this is the one.

Such poor services, such poor breakfast(chilled aaloo and poor) , such poor tea they offered. This was the only hotel that could spoil my mood on my 9 day tour, however I stayed here only for a day so I was saved. I got this room for 1500 per room and was totally dissatisfied, not even of worth 500. Rooms are humid, moisture smell all around, no electricity was there full night in 6 rooms, so no AC and no fan, Next morning when we requested to not turn off generator so light isn't turned off, they unapologetically denied and were adamant about it, and turned off the light . However we did not made a havoc as heavy rainfall caused the transformer issue, but hotel staff was completely non-coperative. They infact do not have corrected t phone number anywhere, I couldn't rate it less than 1 star, 1 star is only for fair wifi which they provide.

I'd like to warn anyone booking a long-term stay with Hotel RNP, especially through Archana Raj. Here's what happened - > I booked a 1-month stay via Archana for January 30th through February 28th, 2021 for an amount of INR 10,000. > Last minute, the room was changed from a studio rental with an attached bathroom, kitchen, freshly painted and tiles to a very poor condition room next to Archana's private room in the non-hotel component of the property. She instructed me to beware of her brother and sister and bhaabis, to not mingle with them much if they see me and that she and they do not talk to one another due to a family feud (hence the booking was done via her and NOT her brother who is the main person looking after the hotel). > I made it clear before landing that I telecommute. I was told that Wi-Fi is available in the lobby area - it was NOT. I was also told although YouTube might be dicey, I would be able to access email & Instagram from the room. 0 phone network available to create a hotspot either. > The kitchen that was accessible through Archana's portion of the unit was unhygienic - no aquaguard, no fridge, barely any utensils, ants crawling into everything, 0 maid to clean up so total dust and filth. > The bathroom geyser wasn't functioning. > Cobwebs were around the bed. > Archana's daughter was constantly banging on my door loudly. > After staying 1 night I went to Havelock and Neil Islands - the Wi-Fi in Havelock at the hostel I stayed at was fabulous. A few locals from Port Blair I met there made it clear the owner is lying about there being 0 possibility of WiFi access and that I was being ripped off. > I again communicated that either I need some sort of Internet access to telecommute (which was also very clearly communicated before landing, too) or I would need to shift to another place and she can deduct for the nights I STAY. Archana agreed to this. > I found a few new flats with Wi-Fi and cleaner living conditions for the same price. Archana pretended she was like a friend and that I don't need to rush to vacate as soon as I landed back in Port Blair on February 3rd (I had the option of shifting to a new place that day itself). > She asked her dad to speak with her brother regarding Wi-Fi access in the lobby. Her brother had no idea I was staying there. He first pretended there is 0 Wi-Fi availability in the entire area. Then he said it would take 6 months minimum for WiFi to setup. Then after about 45 minutes he told her dad that actually if I agree to pay an extra 1,000 he can give me WiFi access IMMEDIATELY in the lobby - the family has a history of lying to customers which will become clear as you continue to read further. > I sensed something was fishy with the constantly changing statements and I proceeded with vacating in the morning. > Archana billed me 25% of a full MONTH worth of rent for only staying 2 nights claiming her brother (who was never involved and whom she supposedly has 0 interaction with) decided to bill me INR 500 per night as a "discount" and that the Booking.com rate was 1000 per night. I sent her a screenshot that - a) Booking.com showed INR 749 per night, b) I was never given a hotel room (Booking.com's 749 regular fee per night for Hotel RNP lists clearly that there is Wi-Fi access, TV, AC, etc. - none of these features were available in my shabby unit), c) and that our deal in writing was INR 10,000 for 30 days (any change in pricing needed to be communicated before vacating). > I was blocked. > When I texted her that I am going public if she is not going to respond to any of my questions regarding the incorrect billing, she unblocked me and lied that her phone was switched off (a common contact verified that I had indeed been blocked). She had 0 answers for any of my questions. > I messaged her father, and he did not reply, either. Anyone who books a stay at Hotel RNP should be careful and proceed with utmost caution.

Hotel is good. The servant is good. Rabindra, the guy who escorted us from airport to the hotel is too humble and silent. In room number 6, the heater didn't work for us for 3 days. Bread jam, and bread cheese will be provided as a complementary breakfast for all the customers. If you ask to turn on the wifi, athish looks at you, as if you asked for his kidneys. Except this inconvenience, rest everything was good.
