Hotel Mahakal Palace - Hotel in Ujjain - Ujjain, India

I have booked 2 rooms in this hotel from 26th to 28th Feb. 2023. Hotel representative asked to send 50% advance amount as Rs 1800/-. I have already sent Rs 1800/- as advance amount to the hotel account through netbanking 3.24 PM on 25.02.2023. Now they are saying that amount sent is not showing in their account & asked to send further Rs 1800/- in two times as Rs 1799/- and Rs 1/-. Then they(Hotel) will receive my booking. Beware of this hotel. Totally fraud hotel. And don't trust this hotel. Don't send any advance money to this hotel. Very mean-minded hotel representative.

Trash hotel! Bathrooms are leaking! The rooms are so freaking dirty! The room even has a beehive type nest! Don't ever choose this hotel if you're staying in Ujjain! Even the staff is useless! Everything Sucks Here!

A pocket friendly stay. Walking distance to Mahakaal mandir

Rooms are not much clean but staff are good. Water leaking in bathroom and few lights are also broke.

This hotel is close to temple, that is the only advantage, rest all things like cleaning, rooms, washroom and staff behaviour is not good at all. If you complain for anything, staff will ask you to adjust just for a day or two. Search for some nearby places they have good rooms and professional staff who know how to behave with guest.

we booked Hotel Mahakal but we compelled to stay in Hotel Rudrash which is their properties. This happened because the Hotel management is very unprofessional and not updating their inventory regularly so based on availability GOIBIBO took the booking. So we stayed in Hotel Rudrash. Very bad Hotel to stay. Nothing was working. For example Toilet door has handle from outside to lock but there was no hole on wooden frame when complained , the manager repled " it is not their since hotel opened ". In one room rain water was coming on the bed when complained. The Reply was we know but Hotel need Money to repair. Usually Hotel need the Book ID number which either forward to their ID or show them SMS along with ID card. So I did the same. The day we had to left in the morning they demand for hard copy of the Booking ID being mailed to me because they want to know what amount i paid to GOIBIBO because they haven't received any amount from GOIBIBO because of any reason. They stopped us and not allow us even to go Mandir for worship despite all the luggage were at their hotel rooms. I would really would like to thanks GOIBIBO customer care exicutive Godwin who took hardly 10 minutes to resolve the issue. So i will not recommends my known to stay there and also request GOIBIBO not take booking for such unprofessional hotel. Because we know you not Hotel.

It is a good hotel with Lift and variety of options such as four bedded rooms and located conveniently to Mahakaleshwar Temple. We could park our car just outside .We could go walking to the temple at 0230 hours for Bhasam Aarti. The staff was helpful as it was raining heavily in the next day morning but they brought us good breakfast from outside.Their restaurant was not functioning during our visit due to lean season.

This place was Okie . The room given to us was very clean but we were disturbed many times during the night and early morning as they has stored some of their useful stuff . And they were in a hurry to check us out . We has checked in at around 0130 in the night and inspire of requesting for extension of checkout time to 1100 . They kept pushing for 1000.
