A beautiful lake and beautiful sounding.
Gives fresh vibes.
A beautiful road for cycling and riders as the beautiful lake and scenes views throughout.
Hesaraghatta lake is a nice and short get away from city.
It is a huge lake and you can take a walk on the tank bund which gives a very nice birds eye view. Before it was allowed to go till the lake but recently fences are erected to block access by BWSSB. However people are still going till the lake bank by sneaking in through the fences.
At the center of the tank bund there is a small temple.
You can spend about 1 -2 hrs here as there is nothing much to do unless you want to sneak through the fence and reach the lake bank.
Parking : You can park out side the BWSSB guest house and then take a walk till the tank bund or you can also approach from the other side.
A great location for cycling. The roads are butter smooth and new. There's no traffic around this area and it's a true delight to just bike around. It's very popular amongst cyclists and you'll always find many groups on their century ride. There's absolutely no road traffic noise and it gives the great feeling of being in the country side.

The place is a good weekend getaway.
Though during monsoon it is filled with water and is completely green lush take steps cautiously as the place is scattered with beer bottles. Also the authorities seem least bothered in keeping the place neat and clean. Better to leave before 6 pm.

Lake is good people are not good as I am local nearby, I saw boys got beaten by local men and her family members on dam bridges with big wooden piece just had got dunked their passed urine near to their store,,, I felt bad no shouldn't beaten & scolded by local people or visitors police warm as many people leave their daily food by visitor visiting opinion that we should avoid going to lake without any proper precautions
A calm and serine place amidst controlled forest.
The only problem is the people. They have littered everywhere and have left the place miserable.
All they want is cool pictures for their social profiles.
Be responsible and have some civic sense.
DO NOT TRASH YOUR TRAVEL.
