Had a very beautiful and rewarding experience at HCG hospital with Dr Kirthiga and her team. I had taken my sis in law for a MRM.. Breast surgery. She was very anxious and worried about the cancer surgery... The way Dr Kirthiga handled her was awesome... The patient was absolutely relaxed and cool... The day care centre staff were very polite and caring. The psychological counselling was very useful. .... After a major surgery... we came home the same day. I think Hcg hospital is good cancer center and Dr. Kirthiga is a very efficient surgeon and a wonderful person who gives personalized care to her patients. Dr. Rajini premlatha

Recently I have undergone Robotic nefrectomy surgery in HCG Hospital.I am satisfied. Dr. Raghunath and his team is very supportive and hard working. Private ward sister tower 4 Ranjitam is very care taking towards patients. PA Sh. Sanghmesh is very cooperative and helpful. Thanks to entire team of HCG.

Hospital is good for treatment but before you start better know this is expensive. How much expensive so let me tell you that investigation will take up around 1 lakh rupees before any treatment. First blood test will be around 20k, PET Scan 27 k, MRI - 16k, IHC and biopsy for breast -10k+9k, other markers -25k, consultation -1350 every time. Then once it is established what treatment is needed. They might start treatment accordingly. I had experience with chemo and so here is the list. 20k would be charged for general things which includes the room rent is 5k and rest are medicine, doctor visit(1200), documentation charges(800). Cleanliness (800), etc. The hospital will charge every small needle used. This is standard for all hospital not just hcg. The actual chemo medicine will be on top of this. Mine was 25k. There was a women who told his father had medicine costing 4 lakh per treatment. Now these sessions which may be from 3-10or16 will depend on person to person, on stages, age, etc. So could take up 3-10 lakh easily. Then there will be other treatment. So just a heads-up to manage your finances and plan your insurance. I wanted to know the cost of surgery but couldn't find any. Doctors are good. Treatment is good, they know what they are doing. It's actually a big corporate where everyone knows what they are doing. 100's of people come daily so you may feel like management is rude to you. I wrote this because no one will tell you this before starting, and after 4-5 session if you emptied the pocket and did not complete the course. It will be bad in both ways for patient and family. Edit: update 23/10/2023 The surgery cost is 1,80,000 estimated which in other hospitals is around 60k. Surgeon cost 26k, assistant cost 10k, ecu charges 80k around.. The blood test which cost here 2049 will cost 830 on 1mg at home One thing after being in hospital for more than 6 months I learnt is for sure they want to make money. I have seen one more thing that they ask people to give google reviews. So a lot of positive reviews are biased (not fake). Marketing team make sure that their online presence should be quite positive so on quora, online sites it will be marketed as best hospitals. Learnings: cancer treatment is the same around the world. They will give paclitaxel and caboplatin or EC regiment here also and in your local hospital. The drug remains the same. If it is in 4th stage then here the treatment will have more investigations. My relative's son was admitted here, they asked for the dna sequencing test which cost 4.5 lakh rupees. The report will come next month. His son passed away a few backs ago. Also some doctor will boast about cyberknife and bla bla..

Pretty good. Doctors take time to talk you through the options and procedures at length. Most staff are pleasant and competent. A special thanks to Asha and Twinkle in the Day Care Ward Tower 3, 4th floor for their efficiency and empathy. A few minor cons - 4 towers to navigate between for different tests and consultations can be confusing. Speed bumps needed in front of the towers, we almost stepped in front of a fast moving car when emerging from T4. Restaurant is a little costly with slow staff.

Thanks is not enough to say... We never seen such a great doctor like Dr.PRABHU N NESARGIKAR. He is too caring, friendly and experienced also with a great humanity. Also thanks to Dr. Shekar Patil and our international coordinator Mr Injamam. We suggest international patients to contracts with Coordinator Mr Injamam and Vhabna, Mr Nadim also..
