If you are in Pondicherry, home to the Hidesign brand of quality leather bags and accessories, here is a chance to own some of their icons and classics at good value prices. The staff is knowledgeable and will polish any of the pieces you purchase. If you are lucky, you could walk away with some items which are no longer in production and at an attractive price. Tucked away at the rear of the store are some classic portfolio bags they call the classics or icons. I did get my Hidesign bag polished while I was at the store.also picked up a few leather book covers and bags made of Dakota letter (my favorite) which I no longer find in the stores. It's a factory outlet. It's a good place for genuine leather bags. I think they are having lot of unsold bags for long time, so it becomes outdated fashion. They have Hidesign and Holii bags. This shop structure is a old house. Sometimes they have different price for same bag, so it is better if you search for better price. You can ask them to put a polish if it looks dusty.

This is the Hidesign "seconds shop". Those, who are unable to afford the new ones, can get the satisfaction of owning one of these - same make, same designs, but at discounted prices- mainly because of very minor manufacturing defects or maybe because the design has become outdated. Be careful to check for defects very minutely before purchasing. My logic is very simple- there are many shopping portals offering Hidesign bags at much discounted rates for absolutely new products, so why should I buy for a defective piece, even if it is discounted?

A factory outlet which give bags wallets clutches and leather stuff at reasonably lesser price compared to the brand. Lot of searching to be done. The lady at counter will jelp you and tell about the product. She will also polish it to make it look in a presentable manner. The building really looks shabby. The nest part is you have two three more outlets really close by. Try your luck.

I called to enquire regarding a product for purchase and the lady who answered the call was very rude, It can be factory outlet so it doesnt mean they should be rude. Such an well established brand not treating customer well is ridiculous. She said am busy keep the phone. Is this the way to answer. I keep asking her & she disconnected the call.. Brand & collections are good, staff in that outlet is how they always treat customers. This is my second experience.
