I have had a great stay in Hotel from 19/10 to 25/10/2023 consecutively for the second year for Belur Math Ramkrishna mission Kolkata Durga Puja Festival participation. Hotel is having very polite, dynamic, helpful staff. Maintained neat & cleanness extremely well. Excellent food services. Looking forward to stay again in forthcoming Kolkata tour.

I had a terrible check-in experience at this hotel. The owner's brother displayed appalling behavior, raising his voice to the point of shouting and showing a threatening demeanor. He also exhibited clear bias against women, treating a female guest discriminatorily in my presence. The staff's conduct was bewildering, unprofessional, disrespectful, and exasperating. I'm deeply concerned about the negative impact this behavior could have on the hotel's reputation and business. Urgent attention is required to address these issues, and I hope this message reaches the hotel owner.

It was very good stay at fab hotel de shivalika, hotel staff was very well adaptive and cooperative too, room given to me was quite spacious and clean, bed mattress are the best one to sleep, in bathroom hot water availability was quite good, room AC was very good and effective. Food ordered was quite.tasty and made available readily breakfast option was fewer in lower side but what i have ordered was aloo parantha was tasty one along with cup of tea. Overall it was a pleasure to stay at fabhotel de shivalika And I would like to visit there again..... thankss

To begin with, the level of hospitality extended to the guests was shockingly lacking. One particular individual at the reception named Shishir consistently exhibited an unprofessional demeanor. Frankly, I doubt his competence in handling customers effectively. Adding to my dismay, there was a man named Akash Jaiswal who claimed to be the property owner's brother. His behavior was nothing short of appalling; he not only raised his voice to the point of shouting but also displayed a threatening demeanor as if he intended to harm me physically. What was even more distressing was his clear bias against women, as evidenced by his discriminatory behavior towards a female guest in my presence. The staff's conduct was nothing short of bewildering, unprofessional, disrespectful, and downright exasperating. I can't help but express my concern that such behavior will inevitably have a detrimental impact on the hotel's reputation and business. It is my sincere hope that this message reaches the attention of the hotel's owner, as these issues need to be addressed urgently.

I had an unfortunate experience during check-in: - Requested a different room, but was denied despite other rooms being available. - Receptionist named Sishir engaged in a heated conversation. - Akash Jaishwal, claiming to be the owner's brother, shouted at me and exhibited sexist behavior, implying I couldn't voice my needs. - Their behavior reflected male ego and lacked professionalism and manners. - Akash Jaishwal's rudeness and discriminatory attitude towards women were disappointing. - It's shocking that in 2023, someone in the hospitality business holds such archaic beliefs. - The incident was embarrassing, disrespectful, and humiliating. - I'm sharing this to caution others and urge them to be vigilant.

Under construction. I stayed on ground floor. The rooms are decent. Few staff are good and few are bad. The rooms on first floor are better. Unmarried couples allowed.
