Hidden beach in Havelock. You can reach there either by ferry which costs 1k per person and other option is to trek for 1 hour and reach elephant beach, suggest to take a guide and go for trek, it's a wonderful experience. Lot of water rides to enjoy Scuba diving and sea walking can't be missed. Best place for these activities as the fauna are untouched you will experience the best sight of nature.

Elephant Beach is a hidden gem, offering a serene and unspoiled coastal experience. The pristine white sands, crystal-clear waters, and lush greenery create a picturesque setting. It's a paradise for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. Limited facilities, but the natural beauty more than compensates.

Small but beautiful beach. But there are some caveats with respect to visiting the beach. It's accessible only via a boat, which charges 250 rs per head for the to and fro visit. You get 3 hours at the beach plus 30 mins one way to and fro the beach each way. So total 4 hours. There are numerous water activities there, they seemed expensive to me. There's a snorkelling activity complementary to the boat ticket but they just show the sand in the shallow water. We tried the 300 rs full mask snorkeling for 10 mins which takes you out to the corals and you see the fishes too. Worth it for me, any other water activities didn't seem worth it to me. But the problem is you can't leave until the other people you are traveling with in the boat are done with their activities, so in our case we were at the beach for 3.5 hours. It gets boring if you do not do water activities. There are snacks etc available on the beach. Also during peak season (October to March) this beach is very crowded.

Firstly reaching there by boat is thrilling experience, adrenalin rush, ticket cost 1000/person for both side. You will be given 3 hours to enjoy/explore the Elephant beach. This is a well known spot for watersports in Havelock, scenic with trees and white sand. Plenty of marine life. Lots of water sports options like jet skiing, banana boating, sea walk are available. Locker facilities are available on a paid basis (100Rs as on Aug 2023). Basic food stalls like tea, samosa and fruits are available.

I recently visited the Elephant beach and unfortunately, it was far from the idyllic experience I had hoped for. The beach was overcrowded and it felt like a commercialized money-making venture rather than a tranquil escape. You are forced to decide and pay for pay for the water sports activity even before seeing the beach or the rights of the facilities for that matter. Moreover, there is a cancellation amount charged if you change your mind. In case you are going in a larger group and the other members do not want to participate in the water sports, they would be held hostages for 3 to 4 hours till the rest of the members finish the activities. No one informed us about the time limit of the speed boat that takes you to the beach. Unfortunately it started raining and activities like paragliding took a pause due to which we took longer than expected time to return back and we were charged 10000 rupees extra. The toilet facility there is also extremely unhygienic for which they also take a charge of 10 rs. Moreover, if you are considering to take a water sport, you will be compared to take up a locker which is going to cost you another 100 rs. In short, it is a money making scam. After doing all this even the rides were very disappointing the there was no information given what so ever about the corals, fishes and the marine life. After promising for a 45 minute sea walk they wrapped the sea walk in literally 10 to 12 minutes. If you still want to experience the rides here please come prepared with your swimming clothes, towels and a set of dry clothes. To add to the disappointment, the rain started pouring down, leaving us with no shelter or refuge. The food options were limited and shockingly overpriced, making it an even more disheartening experience. Please think twice before considering this beach as a part of your itinerary for Andaman. There are many better options for your watersports on other beaches.

Elephant Islands in Swaraj Dweep (Formerly Havelock Islands) : One of the most popular destinations due to its serenity, clear water and various water sports. Placed between dense tropical jungles, the beach is covered by tall trees and greenery from all sides, which opens into a wide beach, complemented by white sand. The waves are medium and lively ensuring you that the adventure sports like Jet Skiing, Kayaking, Speed Boats, Banana and Sofa Boat Rides are made much more enjoyable. It also offers Dolphin Glass Bottom Boat -An unique experiences in Andaman by letting you watch and explore the rich corals and marine life.

Very popular beach in Havelocks. Lots of water activities scuba diving. Elephant beach is a very popular beach for water activities. The variety of water rides available was amazing. We also tried snorkelling on this beach and it was the most amazing experience. The corals are located very close and the water is very crystal clear. The boat to Elephanta beach needs to be booked at the jetty at Havelock. Booking was taken care by experience Andaman tour planner. We went through our resort for this booking and were happy with the seamless . You need to reach this place in a speed boat from Havelock. You usually get about 3 hours to spend time at elephant beach and to do water activities. You need to go back by the same boat to Havelock. The island closes by 3pm.

Elephant Beach is a popular destination located in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. It's known for its stunning white sandy beach, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life. The beach offers various water activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, and swimming, allowing visitors to explore the vibrant coral reefs and underwater world. The name "Elephant Beach" comes from a rock formation that supposedly resembles an elephant. It's a serene spot for relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty of the Andaman Islands. This beach can be accessed by boat or by trek through protected forests and mangroves. I have chosen trekking as I have never done that before. This was a great trekking experience. It is of 2 km trek but takes time to reach. If you are alone or with friends, i recommend you to choose a trek as it's a great adventure. Initial few minutes it will be normal trekking then it will be very slippery then trekking in water. I just loved it. However don't choose this if you have small kids or elderly people.
