Cafe de ladakh - Chinese restaurant in Jammu - Jammu, India

I have been here more than one time, two years in a row. Everything is overpriced, still the food is below average. You'll get far better food in other Ladakhi restaurants not too far from this place, at 3/4th the price. I have had Chicken chowmein here, and not only it tastes bad probably the worst I've had consistently but also overpriced again. The cooks are not from Ladakh so probably that's why the Chowmein is not of the Ladakhi quality. The seats are comfortable but not designed for eating on the tables they have. Overall, I have had very bad experiences consistently.

Cafe de Ladakh - Cozy atmosphere, tasty food and unique dishes. We went there and had Chicken Steamed Momos, Mutton Steamed Momos, Chicken Fried Rice and Mocktails (Mojito and Blue Curacao). Fried Rice were not upto the mark as rice were hard and chicken was also not properly cooked. Chicken Momos & Mutton Momos were heavenly they were superb and juicy. Moreover the sauces and chutneys they had were also the best. Final Verdict: Must visit to try their momos and avoid rice until they become perfect. They do have some Ladakhi traditional cuisine so do try and overall a MUst Visit

The system of Ladakhi cafe(s) in Jammu is not a new concept, yet the food in the older cafe were limited to cusines like momos, thukpa and chowmin. *Cafe de Ladakh* is a breath of fresh air when it comes to diversity of dishes they serve. From light breakfast to heavy lunch and munchy snacks and beverages, they serve almost everything under budget. This goes well with the pocket of students who have to adjust on a budget without pocking holes in one's pocket. On my first visit I had HoneyChilli Potato, authentic Mutton momos and fried rice and let me tell you this, I wasn't disappointed. The momos were perfectly steamed, juicy and upto the mark. Being a Ladakhi, I can vouch on the fact that I know what authentic momos taste like. Edit: Revisited the place and was disappointed with the beverages they serve. Disappointed with Cold coffee, virgin mojito, cappuccino among others as they were either too sweet or were not of the required consistency. They need to work on their beverages.

Average! Not so good but not so bad :) Thukpa was good

The atmosphere is great and food is super great just one thing they i guess use something that burns the stomach after momo and chutney i don't know what els so they should work on that. In a nutshell food is great

Cafe de ladakh is one of the best eating point in jammu.
