Amor Gangtok Resort and Spa - Resort hotel in Gangtok - East District, India

One of the best stays one can have in gangtok. Just 5 m in n walking distance from ban Jhakri waterfall. The swimming pool is the biggest card they have. The food is quite expensive. They provide swimming costumes at market price too and the view form room is quite serene

Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated but first room they provided had the river view blocked, they shifted us to a better room next morning. Service was slightly slow maybe because of their lift, it gets out of order frequently. Pool is nice but averagely maintained, problem with the pool area is that staffs do not monitor how it is used, they have strict pool timing but at first we were unable to access it because of a group of 6-7 local bachelor boys who completely occupied it for several hours, they were also drinking and playing with their slippers inside the pool. We requested the management to take care of the situation however they didn't have anything to do about it, finally my partner lost his patience and charged the manager for not taking any actions, this has to be taken care of if they want families to keep visiting. Staffs were well behaved and hospitable especially the lady receptionist and restaurant staffs, their Spa therapist is really nice and well trained but the spa requires more maintenance hygiene wise. Food is great, Hotel is located 10km away from Gangtok main area and other sightseeing places so it can be inconvenient for some tourists. Overall we would love to visit the property again if certain things are improved, our stay was mostly memorable.

It was a pleasant stay of ours in amor gangtok resort we enjoyed alot and the food was perfect with great taste as we stayed for 2 nights and would like to thanks Neha for making us our stay comfortable.would highly recommend to others also.

The worst experience I had was in this hotel, I have booked for three days of total package like fooding and dinning . The rooms were good but other than that the services were not acceptable. I will tell them that we will have dinner at 9 pm or lunch at 1 pm , they will provide dinner at 11 pm and lunch at 3 pm . Then room services were really bad experience . Our drinks have been served to another room and later they come and apologize for the room service. The male receptionist is the worst he doesn't know anything, and one time booked us a taxi to mg Marg took 1000 inr just for going where as when we returned at night it came by 300 inr .. they don't have a wake up call system. And the worst part is not even many people are staying there only few like 15 people .. there is no lift and the hotel have 5 floors .. so if you take old person with you , never book this hotel. Everything is expensive even though I bought everything but the taste sucks .. they honestly don't know how to welcome a guest .

The staff is very polite, the food is good, rooms were clean. And would like to mention the bane if the receptionist Ms Neha who helped us to make our stay comfortable.Highly recommended to others also.

Among the top places to stay. The staff is really courteous. The beach and the entire resort are tidy and clean. The food tastes good. Thank you for making our trip something we will never forget. My younger child begs to prolong their trip and stay at this resort. He even recommended that we purchase the Avatar room where we slept.

Love the atmosphere and location of the resort.The staff here was so polite and humble. Loved the vibe of the place. Would love to revisit again in gangtok. They have complimentary services like drinks and food.

Pleasant Resort atmosphere. Even though it's a little distance from M.G. Road Market, the location is excellent for city travel. Excellent hospitality. Very good staff assistance. outstanding housekeeping, room service, and other services. Fantastic and well-maintained room. The variety and quality of the cuisine were both excellent. It goes without saying that I advise anyone visiting Gangtok to schedule their stay at Amor Gangtok Resort and Spa.
