Airport Hotel - Hotel in Port Blair - South Andamans, India

Very Good hotel. Extremely helpful staff. Served good food. Nice breakfast. This hotel is a bit far away from the city so you will have to keep this in mind. If anything this hotel can improve upon is making guest wait for 15 mins before allotting the room.

The hotel rooms were great, the only issue being that the views were missing, despite the hotel being right in front of the runway. The staff was very pleasant, especially Mr. Mondal who helped us in every way possible. The cons are brash management and very limited WiFi available only at the lobby, which worked at the same speed as a 2g connection. The worst part of my stay here was the food. Hands down, the least tasty food I've had in my entire trip to the andamans. The cook here really needs some training.

Pathletic room and worst service. Their Premium rooms are same as normal standard rooms like lauge. Washrooms are pathetic and uncleared. Most of the time you won't get hot water in washroom. Interior at reception is good but in rooms you can see few leakage from sealing. Food - Food is too costly and without any taste. Service is also not good. People are arrogant and less helpful. If you are visiting portblair " DO NOT BOOK " this Hotel. Otherwise it will be a worst start of your trip.

I have been working with the hotel as an Travel Agent from Lazy Yatra. Airport hotel and the management has always been supportive. There has been mixed reaction from the client about the hotel, but we mainlanders forget that the quality of services differs with the cost. The respective cost charged by Airport hotel is nominal in compare to the equivalent counter parts. Considering the great management, and almost 90% positive reviews from it client, offering Airport hotel has been our priority for clients looking for Deluxe package. However if you are looking for Luxury stay, you must not choose the hotel.

The room was nice with all basic amenities, and the staff was quite polite. Only thing missing here was that food was not tasty at all. Also I found this hotel a bit expensive compared to other hotels in the area. This hotel is recommendable only for people who want to stay close to the airport and have flight the very same day or next day as otherwise it is little far from main tourist spots and there aren't enough options to eat in the nearby area. Plus the sound of flight take off and landing may irritate you.

Pros 1. Staff is courteous and the services are also satisfactory. 2. Rooms are clean and well maintained. 3. In house restaurant with nice food for an average hotel.(Although I wouldn't say amazing food) 4. As the name suggests the hotel is situated in close vicinity to the airport. Cons 1. Being very near to the airport it is far away from the main city with no shops or restaurants near by. If you do not wish to eat from the hotel you would be stuck in the hotel especially at night. It is better to opt for a hotel which is near main city. 2. No elevator. 3. Most of the dishes on the menu were not available whenever we asked for it. 4. Bathrooms needs a bit improvement. Overall it's a nice and cheap hotel to stay for an average 2-3 star hotel. But you can get similar options in the main city also.

Its a fine budget hotel. Not very close to the aiport as the name suggests, the auto guys will charge the same amount (100 bucks) to reach airport as from the main market area in the north. The rooms definitely are well made though they are a bit on the smaller side in terms of size. The bathroom needs improvement. The checkout time they give you is 7:30 AM, though they extended it by one hour when we raised our concern w.r.t the same (However even 8:30 AM is too early checkout time). We paid Rs. 3600/- as we had not done any prior online booking and were searching for hotels in the old fashioned way but in my opinion anywhere around 2000 bucks should be the ideal price for this place. We were not given receipt after asking thrice for the same! Neverthless it is a fine place for its size and the rooms are comfortable, so one can definitely stay here.

It was like a home at another town far away from native amidst the ocean. We stayed with family for 3 nights and taken 3 rooms. The good things about the hotel are many like- friendly staff and very near to airport, 24 hours at your service. The house keeping, resturant staff and all the staff of hotel are all very helping and good. Sometimes the little things means a lot when you are far away from your home! I appreciate the hotel Manager Mr. Gupta ji who keenly looks at everything. Looking forward to stay here in next visits.
