Wyndham Kaua'i Beach Villas - Featured Reviews (497)
I am writing after reading the concerns from the recent review for which I am VERY thankful. The review prompted me to call the office, instead of assuming Club Wyndham or Worldmark standards as an owner of both. Fortunately, the staff were extremely helpful through my angst and explained the remodel process and suggested lower level of building B that had flooded and is now the example of the first remodel. My in-laws are in the same building with the more dated furniture, BUT the mattress is solid and room clean. For some reason, we had a hard time finding the amenities online, but the room does include a W/D and kitchen cleaning items can be replaced. As CW owners, we have access to the Outrigger, which makes all the difference. The Outrigger beach access for sunrise and jacuzzi access is next level over the motel size pool and jacuzzi on property. Like Worldmark, the pools are freezing in the winter, so nothing new here. For building B, the property is next to a dirt motorcycle track, which was initially disturbing but you cannot hear the noise in the room and it was only used on Saturday at move-in. The property has the usual sharing of left over beach items and tennis/pickle ball racket, which is extremely helpful. As an aside, my in-laws had to switch out the mattress pad for a stain, so some quality control still exits. Ultimately, being able to use points for Kauai with close access to Costco and quick access to north and south part of the island is priceless. Our first real day yesterday on the south side to find the sun and beach made for an exhale after a week of worrying about the rooms. The property will only get better with the remodel, but you never know what corners CW as a company will continue to cut versus what Worldmark used to be - like refills of coffee - but you can get free coffee in the office :)
The rooms and furniture were older but the location and staff were friendly. While the main hotel and resort had bars and restaurant, they didn't all have good food options so I'd recommend ppl to stay here and if you want to eat out to drive further up the highway for plenty of options. The villas themselves are ok and nice for their age. It serves a purpose but be aware there is no lifts to the second or third floor. So anyone with disability or trouble with flights of stairs should book for ground floor. The pool and spa was great and private, the grounds were kept clean and immaculate by the grounds staff. Beach access is easy but the beaches are not monitored and have hard waves and not recommended for swimming. Villa passes allow access to hotel pools as well.
Some buildings are in better condition. The closer you get to the beach the worse the building conditions get. We stayed with family who had units away from the beach in building C and they seemed much better. We were in building F. Ripped plastic blowing from the roof on balcony, view of a building with a sign that says it’s unsafe to enter but there are people sitting on the balconies, the units are dirty (see photos), blinds need to be manually moved slat by slat to open in bedroom. Beach is littered with Plastic and bits of garbage. I gave it two stars because the gardens are well maintained. Stay somewhere else.
This is a great hotel to stay in Kauai. The rooms have everything you need to cook, including a kitchenette, and there are washer and dryers for your convenience. The pool is shared with the adjacent hotel, and it's not far from the downtown area where Costco is located.
The location was very convenient. The grounds were lovely and there were easy walking paths to the beach. The Outrigger Hotel was right next door for easy walking to Happy Hour or dinner. However the unit itself was lacking. The furniture was uncomfortable for sitting, and I found the bed too soft. We also thought it strange that there were no fans in the bathrooms.
We booked here through AirBnb and had issues with the host not responding to us, we had to contact airbnb directly and have them bother the host and it still took several days to get a response. The property says it has electric vehicle charging, which they mean they only have a single wall outlet in the parking lot. When we stayed, it either wasn't working or someone else was using it constantly. Don't expect to charge an electric vehicle here! Unit itself was dated but in decent condition. As mentioned the sliding doors were old, but still sealed fine. Appliances were dated, but in working condition. Bed was comfortable. Newer AC minisplit in bedroom and living room was awesome. The bathroom had ventilation issues and would stay smelling damp/moist for many hours after a shower. Pricewise it was fine for hawaii, but I would've been more upset to pay that much to stay anywhere on the mainland.
Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The pool was great, not crowded at all. Hot tub was not working when we were there which was a bummer. They did say we could use the one at the resort right next door.
Disappointed when we walked in the room. Surface clean but needed a deep clean and upholstery was stained and dirty. We had to put towels and sheets over furniture to feel clean. Everything rusted and dated. That should be part of the description. Washer and dryer didn’t work properly, mold in bathroom and 1st bathroom clogged on first shower. Location great, the hotel resort amenities good. Staff nice but not helpful. Jocelyn at the resort was nice.

The drive into this place is like driving to another planet. Then thereâs the view from the restaurant. So beautiful! We came for brunch and it did not disappoint. Food was incredible, too. Not a bad dish in the group. Quiet and relaxing. What else
We LOVED it here. Amazing location. Beautiful, well kept property. Chickens and chicks all over the place which we really enjoyed. We had a big apartment with a fantastic balcony overlooking the grounds, pool, and ocean. The furniture was a bit dated
I stayed in a privately owned, probably the nicest unit here and through airbnb. It was beautifully redecorated, modern amenities, none of the issues others reported. Convenient location but still definitely need a car. There was massive amount of no
I enjoyed the grounds, the hot tubs were luxurious, although got crowded after dark. The food was high quality at every venue, bar, restaurant, lounge. The service was impeccable. We reserved an economy room, which was nicer than any other hotel we h

They only have one long table for outdoor seating, but this place seems like the locals' favorite. I see many orders multi box lunches. You have to go to the back of the store for the breathtaking view (hopefully we didn't intrude on private properti

THE best plate weâve had - I got the garlic shrimp & garlic chili chicken plate and my partner got the special of seared togarashi crusted ahi, both came with a generous portion of rice and the BEST mac salad (not too mayo heavy and great flavors).
