Among South LA’s most famous and beloved of landmarks! The Watts Towers are shown in Los Angeles publications on art, engineering and tourism.
I’d consider adding the Watts Towers to my regular tour route, if only it were closer together with the usual stops for time conscious travelers. Otherwise I’ll still offer to take private group tours here, if it fits within their itinerary.
Guided tours may arranged with staff to get a better understanding of the art with a close up perspective!
The work will amaze onlookers with the avant-garde craftsmanship of Simon Rodea. Someone who was very creative, inspiring the local community to set up shop at the park, helping with the preservation of the works of art and to foster the artistic endeavors of Angelenos!
The towers are covered and have major maintenance. Even the site is closed but for that small site you can check them out from the outside, it’s of course worth to visit and read all the history of this building there, yes that’s part of history something between architecture and sculpture. Anyway I and my son enjoy visiting the place, don’t forget to visit the small garden and real size Simon Rodia statue.
The iconic designation of the Watts community. These photos are from the recently completed restoration of some of the towers.
Took some friends to see this historic art work and center. I have yours there back in the mid to late 1900's

Must-visit LA hiking spot with views of the Hollywood sign. Two trail options (one is easier and one is harder)â¦even the âeasierâ trail is strenuous as itâs up hill for awhile. Make sure you know what entrance you are wanting to enter from an
Visiting from out of state I was bit overwhelmed by all the people while staying downtown. Taking a nice jog over here in this greenery and dirt was an excellent retreat away from it all. Most of the trail was pretty flat and kept on the same elevati
Great Park in a Safe Neighborhood! This park has lawn bowling, a practice golf course, & a huge jungle gym for kids of all ages.. The people here are kind & courteous. The park also has ample parking which loops around the park itself.
For plane spotters and airline enthusiasts, this little free public park near the airport is a must visit and worth traveling to LA for. One can enjoy the aircraft as they flyby for landing at runway 24R at LAX. It's an absolute thrill.

Although it was a little foggy when we visited it was still a great view of the city and an excellent view of the famous Hollywood sign. Plus I got my wings (as you can see) and it was a good time to visit with traffic and parking, which was great, w
Depending on your attire and mobility, you can experience a few things at Bronson Canyon. If you are with your family and you don't want that strenuous of a walk, the tunnel itself is a quick walk up a wide, easily traversed dirt road. I believe that

You have to see it to believe it! A huge park space, relatively speaking for a park within LA. Most local parks can be seen from the entrance parking lot, whereas this one would take all day to walk around to see and experience, much less drive to th

Valentina and Helen are absolutely wonderful trainers. They always go out of their way to help everybody out: always giving adjustments to improve posture and performance. I always book a session when one of them is there. They also play great music.
I was amazed by the authentic Japanese cuisine at UKA, and being Japanese myself, I believe this restaurant truly captures the essence of our culinary heritage. The chefs' attention to detail brought out flavors that transcended mere appearance, leav
My time at this gym has been nothing short of exceptional! I recently hit my 1 year anniversary and am proud to be a member of CrossFit Echo Park. At first I was hesitant about joining CrossFit in general due to thinking it was just a bunch of rugged
I can't speak more highly of this amazing establishment. My friends and I came hungry and were treated to some of the most authentic and delicious plant-based / cruelty-free dishes. I ordered a little assortment and each one became my favorite!
