I've come here since I was a kid. I have now been here a few times with my kids, and it is just as good as I remember. The park has grown organically and all the rides have been well-maintained over the years. This place really is a hidden gem and even in 2023 the prices are so much lower overall than other parks. The wooden coasters are thrilling but not violent. Lines are much more manageable even while busy. And today I was very surprised to learn that there are accommodations for autistic children. My youngest was able to get a yellow wristband without hassle and it 100% allowed him to have a full and fun experience here. I hope this park remains free admission to make it easy for families to picnic and ride here.

Waldameer is our favorite Waterpark/ Amusement park! The season passes are definitely worth getting! We try to make the 2 hr trip at least once a week! I love that the Waterpark has rides/pools for all ages. We can't wait for summertime to come so we can start our Waldameer summer routines!

What a beautiful park! The water world is so much fun for both kids and adults. While they don’t offer many roller coasters, they is still plenty to do. There are many rides geared towards kids! While it is annoying that you have to scan your wristband to get on every ride, it is nice that entry is free. This offers non riders the opportunity to come, eat and play games. It is an older park, but they keep it clean, maintained and have nice landscaping. The bathrooms could use an update.

The absolute best part about this park is the FREE ADMISSION. You saw that right. You can simply enter and walk around without money upfront. The park is cashless, though. They have "Wally-Cards" you purchase at kiosks all over the park. Those same cards then can be reloaded as necessary. Or, you can purchase a combo Ride/Slide All Day ticket to WaterWorld. Also, there are just Ride All Day and Slide All Day tickets for one or the other. They have children's rates. Obviously, a look on the website will explain all of this. But, on a personal note ride the Ravine Flyer 2. It is the most intense wooden coaster I've ever ridden. They also have multiple picnic groves, single tables and shade to bring your own picnic to the park. You can go and come back since Presque Isle and Lake Erie is right there. Get on the Ferris Wheel for great views of the lake into the horizon. Your family will love it.

Kids had a great time lines were fairly short ( except bumper cars but then that line is long no matter where you go ! ) great thing is if you don’t ride you don’t pay to enter ! plus you can just buy to ride per ride not a pass if you so choose 😀

We spent about 80 but we ate there. We rode 5 rides and got candy apples and a fun el cakes. The rides were 5, and since we didn't want to ride everything, we just paid like that. It was a good time. Edited: So decided to take the children back and was unaware they were closed on a Wednesday. Go figure. Drove all the way from Cleveland. Should have just went to Cedar point. Never would have thought an amusement park would be closed during the week.

Really great balance between bigger rides and stuff for the Littles. Easy to manage a day or even two. The water park alone can easily entertain all ages for a full day or more.

Having a fun place to go to that gives you the option to pay as you go is nice. Having a toddler and not knowing if they will last 3 hours or 3 mins I like not having to buy an expensive ticket upfront. We all had fun and there is plenty to do.
