The food is delicious, the mixed of spices and flavors are wonderful. A great place to eat with different size portions. The chicken was juicy and tender perfectly seasoned. The fried rice was amazing. The sweet potatoes and fried bananas were so good as well it completed the meal so well.
The naked Peruvian wrap and the regular French fries were stellar. The wrap was super fresh and tasty and seemed very healthy as well. The fries were super fresh and nice and crispy, really perfect!
We also tried the plantains, which were horrible. Mushy on the inside and hard on the outside, I love plantains when done right but these were not.
Sweet potato fries were not fresh, they seemed old.
Our friends had the rotisserie chicken and seemed underwhelmed with it, but I would try it next time I’m at Viva Chicken.
I wasn’t sure what to think when going in but I left happy. The menu was a little hard to traverse but I was happy with my Quarter chicken and sides. I asked for the cashier to just give me his favorite sides and they were good!
For a Sunday at 1pm it was surprisingly busy. Easily 3/4 of the tables filled. It was tad noisy and the music playing was rave’ie. Bathroom was clean though a little small.
As a freeway stop it was great!
This was the first time I was trying Peruvian food and I was impressed with the server who really helped me place the order keeping in mind that I have vegetarian / vegan requirement. Food was good, I tried Inca Burritos and it was tasty. Good introduction to Peruvian food.
First and last time at this chain. Came for the reviews... Extremely overrated. The feeling is you are at a cantina.. but there the food might actually have flavor... The chicken is close to Costco style, but overpriced. I assume the "tips" are actually included in the sale price since they do not ask for tips. The fries have no condiments on them... Maybe a little bit of salt. The Tres Leches from a Mexican grocery store and might taste better. This one has a white layer that tastes so powderish... You can feel was not hand crafted. The only slightly better thing was the Peruvian fried rice. Like I said... Extremely disappointed. Street food and might be a better choice... Both flavor and financial...
We loved your Peruvian food, we ordered the Rotisserie Chicken with fries, cilantro rice, and a salad, everything was delicious!! We loved our server “Norma”,she really went out of her way to make our experience great. We will be back, for sure!!
Been wanting to try this place for awhile. It was good! The sauces are what makes the food. The medium sauce is sooo yummy. Chicken is your average rotisserie chicken. The verde wrap was the star of the show. It was very tasty! The sides were somewhat lack luster. The restrooms here are very clean and you can see into the kitchen and it appeared clean as well. Employee taking our order was not the friendliest and not patient even though it was our first time.
So yummy. Easy and quick place to get a delicious bite of food. Great flavors, filling and lots of great options.
