Awesome hotel! Loved the stay, all the TB workers were kind and friendly. Room was always cleaned just right. Pool was so nice! Special thanks to Austin from the Sales department for going above and beyond and making our stay memorable. Great employee, hang onto him- management material for sure! Golf was spectacular, only wish I could have played more! Only complaint was that room services dishes stayed on the floor in the hallway for over 24 hours. If you're going to Oahu, don't stay in Honolulu, go to the North Shore and stay at Turtle Bay.

We stayed at Turtle Bay Resort primarily so I could play golf at the course. I've done a separate review there. The North Shore offers something different to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. It's definitely worth staying here even though the room rate is expensive. The rooms are well appointed. There are a few bits that could be improved like the shower head and some finishing. We also had issues with the air con turning off in the middle of the night which affected our sleep. The views from our room were awesome. The beach is great for families and snorkeling. The pools are great. Honestly, a standout. There's a family friendly pool and adult pool. They look into the North Shore waves. Cocktails are served at the pool, and they're good. One minor critique would be to simplify the pricing of the cocktails. The food offering could be improved. We loved the cocktails at the lobby restaurant but the food wasn't great. The service was extremely slow for food. Same for the poolside restaurant. They're also expensive for what you get. Service was good. Staff are lovely. They must be well treated as many have been there for awhile and are friendly. The full fledged restaurant was amazing. Great service and best pork chops I've ever had. The resort texts you if you're enjoying your stay, and we replied no but there was no follow-up. We did have an issue with an item going missing from the pool. It was an honest to god innocent mistake, and it was resolved after a manager got involved. We absolutely would stay here again, but we'd need to figure out a game plan about food and the air con.

We had the best time staying at the Turtle Bay Hotel this past week. We came to Hawaii for a little getaway before our first baby is here in March. We had never been to the North Shore of Oahu before, and really enjoyed the calm and the beauty of the area. The hotel was recently redone, and you can tell that thought and effort went into every part of it. The staff was excellent and really went out of their way to make us feel special (including by sending some banana bread and cookies to our room after hearing we were celebrating). ||We had an ocean view king in the West Wing and spent a good amount of time sitting in our room listening to the waves - we even saw whales from our balcony one morning! There was plenty to do for both of us, even me being 7 months pregnant. ||Some of the highlights: |+ The prenatal massage at the spa was excellent (the front desk gave me a 10% discount for the appointment) |+ There was plenty of seating every night to watch the surfers and sunset, along with live music |+ Our package included breakfast at the restaurant, which was excellent every morning |+ There was always plenty of seating by the pool |+ We did a photography session with Pacific Dreams in the lobby and were very happy with the results |+ the banana smoothies by the pool were the best we had ever had ||A few things to note before staying here: |+ being so remote, for us having a car was key. We made a few stops to Foodland (~10 min away driving) to grab some light lunch options, and to the food trucks just past the hotels |+ the chairs by the adults pool section fill up very quickly and seem to be reserved all day ||We would definitely return to this resort in the future. This was an adults only trip, but we saw plenty of kids having a great time. There were lots of activities we weren’t able to partake in this time around (golf, horseback riding, surfing lessons) that I would love to get to do next time. All in all a great, very relaxing trip!

Wow, what an amazing location and Hotel. This is by far one of the most beautiful places we have stayed around the world. The customer service is top notch. Ryan not sure of Ryan’s last name but a manager. Handled a situation that happened to me with great respect. He took care of me and my family more than I ever could have expected. That’s what I call great customer care. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special place to spend their time in Oahu. The Ocean Bungalows are the perfect getaway for a family vacation. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to the island. Thank you again Ryan. I really appreciate your customer service and attention. In the world we live in today it’s great to know this type of customer service and care still exists! Thank you.

Okay, just to get this straight and you should know up front that this place is not cheap. Also understand that the service you get here is nothing less than 100%. People here definitely love their job and it shows everywhere you go, everywhere you look, and everybody you talk to. If you can afford to stay here I would definitely do so. It's probably on par with any Disney resort and possibly cheaper. I know for sure that it's 100% better. This side of the island is much better than the South side where Waikiki and Honolulu are. I give this place a 100% recommendation.

The Turtle Bay Resort is a luxurious hotel for folks on their honeymoons, couples celebrating a special anniversary or families that want to spend time in a perfect paradise with their children. My wife snd Zi were just looking for a perfect holiday to escape the cold weather! Regardless of your reasons to come here, you’ll be guaranteed a wonderful vacation. There is a huge pool area with hot tubs, adult pool areas, kiddie pools with slides that are fun for parents, children and an occasional guest who just wants to add a little extra splash to their vacation! Interestingly, non of the pools are more than two feet deep! When this resort was renovated a few years ago, a conscious decision was made to insure that parents could be assured that all the pools would be shallow. And while there are no lifeguards on duty, there is little reasons to be concerned for the guests children. My one regret was renting a car since we never left the resort and paid over $1,000 for the rental and an additional $40 a day to park. I’d recommend when planning your trip to reach out to the hotel’s Transportation Conceiege. Out of curiosity, I spoke with Evan, who’s the transportation manager and he would have arranged transportation to and from the hotel, even though you could probably get a taxi or Uber from Honolulu to get you to the hotel and Evan will definitely arrange transportation back to the airport. While most folks who are planning a trip to a luxurious hotel, expect to pay more for everything from lattes to roast beef, the prices at the hotel might surprise you. We compromised by buying domestic of our breakfasts and lunches at their store in the hotel’s lobby but I think overall, the Turtle Bay Resort was worth it!

Turtle Bay Resort is a beautiful and well-run resort in a spectacular location. Beautiful views of the ocean at almost every turn, a well-appointed and inviting lobby, very nice pools and beach just footsteps away, unfailingly gracious and capable staff and a very nice and clean room with a great terrace were among the highlights of our 5-night stay. My only complaints are that (1) food prices, as at a lot of upscale resorts, are high, but there are more reasonably priced offerings not far away by car; (2) the menu at the lobby bar (which otherwise is very nice) is very limited in terms of food offerings; and (3) our TV connection was interrupted a few times very briefly. My complaints are relatively minor in the overall scheme of things. I have stayed at a lot of nice places in the U.S. and abroad but it is hard for me to think of a place that I consider better than Turtle Bay Resort, all things considered. I would be delighted to return.

Many thanks for the beautiful week at turtle Bay. The bungalows were the perfect place to stay, and we were specially happy to have adjacent rooms for ourselves and our two children.(Really adults at 19 & 22!) We were grateful that the concierge Acted graciously when we complained about the presence of a child at the adults, only pool near our room. It was a difficult thing to bring up and we were treated with respect. The location of this resort is spectacular with the ocean out the window when we woke up every morning, beautifully planted, Great activities we especially liked the farm tour I have to be honest: I found that since my last visit to turtle Bay about 8 years ago, the carpets and linens. All the fabric elements of the room seemed a bit worn. I wonder if if it is due for a refurbishing. I hate to complain at all, as it is such a spectacular Experience to be there. Maid service in the room was terrific Complied quickly and easily with my requests. Same goes first waiter. Service by the pools and in the restaurant food was great. Goes without saying we will return to turtle Bay as soon as possible. It’s a long flight from New York, but well worth it.
