The Warrior Hotel, Autograph Collection - Hotel in Sioux City - 525 6th St, USA

I love everything about the historic Warrior Hotel. Great front desk staff were welcoming and efficient recognizing my Marriott status and offering a beautifully appointed corner room upgrade. Lots of little perks on the room such as a clothes steamer and heated bidet seat! Excellent breakfast in the beautifully appointed hotel dining room. Late night cocktail on the rooftop bar. Easy free parking behind the hotel too. Downtown location was walkable to our event.

Once again I had a wonderful experience during my recent stay at the Warrior Hotel. I was there solo this time for my daughter’s bridal shower. My husband and I stay at the Warrior quite often. Our daughter’s wedding will be held there in just a couple weeks. We are excited for our family to experience the hotel and all its beauty during this very special time. We especially appreciate the staff who always go above and beyond to ensure our visits are memorable. We recommend the Warrior Hotel to all my friends and family, and look forward to returning again very soon!

The hotel itself was really great! Rooms were perfect! Clean and everything I needed. The restaurant, however, was not! Service there was so slow first day and waitress was rude saying there was a complaint about my grandchild being loud (1 year old who yelled out once) This was told to my son then later his wife even tho it was not happening anymore. The manager was talked to and half-hearted and said sorry and asked if they would try them again tomorrow. As we were there for a wedding held there, sure. The next morning, we sat down and waited 20 minutes. Nobody greeted us, walked right past us several times. (Kids were quiet). We left. Later, a friend with their child and wife waited over 40 min for food, another 30 min for the check when they asked for it, and got an eye roll. All of us spent quite a bit of money for the days spent there on the grooms dinner, bowling, alcohol consumed, rooms, and the venue for wedding. The restaurant needs to retrain their staff or hire new. Went to IHOP where service was outstanding.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. I really wanted to like this hotel by the pictures online. This was the worst hotel yet on my 6 day travel. First off, the front desk told us there was no where to let pets use the bathroom and we had to find the tiny area in the parking lot. Which was not even grass it’s bark. Second, our room had a closet which only one door opened and the other blocked the fridge completely and was not able to even be opened. We had multiple washcloths in the bathroom that were dirty. The entire bathroom had spots where it was dirty. Not to mention the pillows were hard as rocks. There were multiple room doors in our hallway left open at 10:30pm? The front desk staff at night were not friendly and rude.

What an experience! We’ve stayed at plenty of hotels throughout our travels and having such a beautiful location in downtown Sioux City is a great addition to the area. Carrie was fantastic to work with & accommodated plenty of room for our children and dog that was along for the stay. We can’t thank her & her great staff enough for a wonderful stay.

Interesting /attractive renovation of a grand couple of old buildings. Good in-town location. Our corner room in the Davidson Building was spacious and comfortable. Great complimentary parking. ||The hotel itself is unusually confusing (partly because the buildings are not structurally integrated), and signage is poor. Front entrance is depressing. Gives the appearance of an abandoned building because no one is there--no assistance to get luggage at front door entrance, or apparently otherwise. Hotel is understaffed: no one at front desk several times we stopped for info, no one to seat us at resto at breakfast, "to-go" coffee set up empty and only provided fake flavored creamers. No one to tell coffee was empty. No one at resto to ask for coffee. Carpet in hallway leading to room needed vacuuming so our first impression heading to our room was negative.||Evening meal at resto: pleasant service and tasty food. Given electronic device instead of menu. Ah, the good ole days. ||The fitness center is well-equipped but did not have any apparent disinfectant/wipes we normally see in unstaffed fitness centers. Required logging in w personal info to use ellipticals. Grrr. ||Not an "Autograph Collection" experience.

Incredible facility, staff is awesome and very caring about your stay. Very clean and if you don't want to go out everything you could ever ask for is with reach. The roof top bar is the cherry on top with views for miles. Fire pit was great on the cool evenings Will return again

We stayed here one night in the one bedroom suite to visit family in the area. The one bedroom suite was perfect for our needs. The sofa bed was comfortable for my son and the private bedroom was nice. The bathroom was large and roomy with a TV in the mirror, which we didn’t use. The toilet had a seat warmer and a bidet option. The shower was amazing with a separate detachable wand. There was also a private rooftop patio which was nice. The patio view was looking at the parking ramp across the street and wasn’t great but it was still a nice feature. The hotel itself was really nice and has a bird theme throughout. There was some noise in the hallways and rooms from other families off and on but it eventually got quiet after 11pm. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location is great with restaurants and shops all around within walking distance.
