The Shell Factory and Nature Park - Gift shop in North Fort Myers - 16554 North Cleveland Avenue, 41 N Tamiami Trail US, USA

The animals were super fun that deserves a 5. We did the bumper boats too and that was pretty lame for 9$ you get 10 minutes for that. so that’s easily a 2. The restaurant was the worst. we were there for at least 2 hours. no one was there and the service was super slow. food was good. Just didn’t want to wait 2 hours for the drinks, food, and check.

Very good place to go! This place is for all ages, for those who like animals is a nice place to feed and pat some animals, The only sad thing we couldn't see the gator show, due to somebody the day before threw a brick on one of the gators. Restaurant if you get hungry. We sure did have a good time.

It was a great gem a lot to do with the family! Only issues is it needs a lot of love the place looks very run down 😅 carousel was not operational, the golf had the return bridge falling literally into the water, and they charged me for my 3yr old because they staff didn’t ask me what age they are.. I noticed after the fact.. the retail store was also closed a few hours earlier today only today of all days.. they could update google with their hours of operation 🙈

Read my previous review about the Shell Factory. The Nature Preserve is a fun and educational attraction, especially for children. We managed to visit on one of the hottest days of the summer. So many of animals were trying to stay cool in shade, so were difficult see. I definitely recommend going there but try to go there as soon as they open.

The largest giftstore in the United States. Also the largest retail shell store! Amazing selection of seashells and gifts. Something for everyone! Definitely worth visiting we are from NY and love visiting this store when visiting our family. Check out my photos. Also a huge selection of Christmas trees and decorations and ornaments, as well as Halloween decor. We also checked out their nature park which had a whole bunch of animals as well as birds.

I recommend this, but with an advisory. This is a wonderful quirky roadside attraction. To walk around is free(except the nature preserve) and I can definitely say it is unique!! I can tell alot of love and care goes into this operation. With that being said..AC was spotty throughout the property. No AC in the kids toy area or the arcade. The ceiling of the Holiday/Christmas area looks awful and really the ceiling throughout the entire property is pretty beat up. The floors are dirty. The place is old. Outside chains and attractions are rusty. The only highlight is again, that its quirky and cool. Also walking on the bridge to the parking lot the fish and turtles come up to you, but you can tell the pond is not well maintained. I read a story on the website about the couple who renovated this place in the 90s, and yes you can tell that's the last time they decided to give it some TLC. I wouldn't go again. But I recommend checking it out atleast once when visiting Cape Coral.

You can go to the outdoor flea market, play putt putt golf, zip line or unwind at the outdoor bar and restaurant with entertainment just about every day Inside the Shell factory you can play games in the arcade for kids. Get ice cream and stroll through the Christmas store. This is an awesome huge gift store with everything from shells ,alligator heads, tee shirts, towels, men, women and children clothing, Shell night lights, and jewelry. You need to check this place out for your selves You won't be disappointed.
