Really liked this place. Everything we tried was great: Biscuits & gravy, 10-can nachos, and cocktails! Update: We went back and tried the ahi tuna salad, fried chicken thigh, and fries. Everything was excellent again! 🧑‍🍳😘👌

At least the atmosphere is great. The rest broke our hearts. Not at all worth the price, and certainly not worth the time. In order: They didn't have ingredients for a drink on their small cocktail menu. The waiter didn't write down an entree I guess (there were only two of us) and came back to ask what she ordered 15 minutes later. The food took 40 minutes to come out (again, two entrees: a salad and mac and cheese). The food is so concerningly bland I worry the chef might have long covid symptoms. The Mac and cheese with chorizo was super greasy and not flavorful at all (see pic - I threw up when I got home, and am writing this on the bathroom floor.) The salad was only edible with the salad dressing, and when we requested more the waiter came back and asked us what dressing it was (it wasn't a choice, it came with the dish. Do they not know their own menu?) It took 20 minutes to get the check. The check greets you with a welcoming, "NO REFUNDS", instead of a thank you, which shows they're planning for disappointment at this point but not improvement. At this time, the table across from us who was there before us finally got their food. It took 10 more minutes to come get the check, which involved a digital tool so leaving us the check at all was a pointless waste of time and paper. We didn't dare get boxes, though it's not like our waiter even asked. We were there for almost two hours for a really unenjoyable 15 minutes of eating before we gave up. This place looks so cute but there's a huge issue with the staff. These are actionable, solvable things I hope they fix with that gorgeous location. But as-is it's way too much time and money I can't get back. I just regret it. Made us sad.

Fantastic Mother's Day Brunch! We were able to sit outside in the great weather. Our server Kelly was wonderful, quick, and attentive. All of the food was delicious! Between thr 3 of us we shared the Sticky Cinnamon Roll, Blueberry Pancakes, French Toast, Crossantwich, and Smoked Salmon Benedict. Each dish was really flavorful and very yummy! We will be back!

First time ordering the monkfish, will definitely order again. Most of the flavor in this dish exists in the couscous but overall everything complimented each-other well. Consistency of the monkfish is more similar to lobster than a white fish. The service here is always great.

Located right off Riverside, The Outpost serves up comfort staples in a himey pub atmosphere. Superb drink specials followed by tasty appetizers. Their can nachos are delicious and come with thick chips to handle all the toppings. ⚠️ If you have 4 people or less, get the small! ⚠️ burgers, steak frites, mussels - all were enjoyed by our party. It won’t disappoint! Enjoy!

Awesome food. Great service with affordable pricing. I had the can nachos for starts, great experience and a ceaser salad with tuna. The Irish Sour was one of the best drinks I have ever had. We also had the hamburger. Fries were very good

We stopped in for brunch and throughly enjoyed absolutely everything. We had the Bloody Mary’s, Tin Can Nachos, and a burger. Large portions and deliciously crafted food.

Brunch at outpost is whack! The Johnny Ryall is a huge portion with plenty of flavours to hit your sweet and savory cravings. The croque monsieur with the tomato bechamel was equally banging. To top it off, our server was super nice! (Only downside to our meal was that our table outside was really slanted, so gravity gave us a little bit of a challenge. 😆 ) Outpost is 10/10 a go-to for us any time of day! Edit: Stopped by for brunch again in lieu of other places that have insane wait times. The green steak & eggs (see shtty pic) is crazy flavourful. Outpost absolutely slaps! 💥 Edit 2: The Tuesday Bubbles & Buckets special is also 10/10 bang for the buck. Edit 3: Years later, this place still slaps on the flavour they deliver + wild portion sizes that leave us waddling out every time. Chicken sandwich is obscenely huge and the hash browns here are McTasty™️. 👍👍👍
