Sweet Baby Jesus, this place is amazing 😍 The food is authentic, fresh, and very affordable. I demolished the beet salad, the pierogis, and the nutella & banana blini. Phenomenal food with no attitude.
Our group gave this place the acid test. Dropped in on a Friday evening with a party of 14, as it happened to be on the same block as our Airbnb. Nice quiet atmosphere (at least until we got there) Large menu choices that tolerated our vegan, gluten free, and dairy free diners. Friendly staff did a great job dealing with our avalanche of requests. Food was quite impressive, and all of the sandwiches, Reubens, and food samplers that we tried were all amazing. This was a gem of a find restaurant and would definitely come back!

I’ve wanted to go here for years now, and my friend and I finally went for my birthday. It’s Eastern European food, some of it with a twist. Eastern European food is one of my favorite cuisines (Georgian being specifically my favorite). The sweet sautéed onions on the pierogi didn’t work for me, and the mushroom gravy wasn’t tasty. My opinion, of course. Otherwise, everything else was great! We had stroganoff, borscht, polish kielbasa, beef golubtsy, stuffed eggplant, and the pierogi. I do also wish the stuffed eggplant was seasoned more. Anyway, I do recommend it to anyone who wants to try something new.
Really great service, felt welcomed here during a traveling delay. The food and service definitely helped boost my mood. Will come by when I’m back in the area.
Hands down my favorite New Orleans restaurant. Yeah, I know that's weird saying that about a Slavic restaurant in this city. But Green Room is just perfect. The food is perfect, every single time. The service is real, not performative. It's a just a chill place to get amazing food and not spend a fortune. If I want the best Creole or Cajun I know where to go. But Green Room is my favorite.
Had the beet Reuben and it was amazing! Also ordered fries. They do not have gluten free bread so for GF they remove the bread but they have two vegan breads they can serve it on.
Highly recommended! Super good! We had crepes w/cavier and sour cream, pierogi, chicken stew served over rice, mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy,fries with four types of sauce, and Ruben. We also had a very good salad with beets and goat cheese. Everything was excellent. Definitely will be going back.
