Such a fabulous place. Old world charm and modern conveniences. Gas fireplaces, private bathrooms, Wifi and walk in showers. Wonderful breakfasts with a cappuccino. Location to downtown Seattle is perfect. Capital Hill is one of Seattle’s best neighborhoods. Will stay there whenever we visit.

Everyone raves about this place and with good reason. We had never stayed in Seattle before this trip and honestly, couldn't have landed in a more perfect home. Which is exactly what it felt like - being at home. Super comfortable gathering places, David is super chill but totally on top of everything, the location is a perfect distance from parks, residential areas for walking, and great restaurants/grocery/coffee and Pike Place. The trees just outside the living room window were breathtaking and framed beautifully by the mullioned windows..the autumn colors just spectacular. Next time - and there will definitely be a next time - i'll opt for a brighter room. The Venetian was a bit dark for my preference (and I knew that going in from the photos!) but probably very cozy if that's what your vibe is.

Cute old house with tons of space in a perfect location. The folks running it are totally on top of everything, David (and his dog!) makes the place feel so welcoming and comfortable (not to mention he pulls a mean espresso for breakfast). Literally 5 minutes walking away from the bustle of Broadway St in Capitol Hill, and slightly longer to get to any of the great greenspace in the area.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. David made us feel at home with great breakfasts and friendly hospitality. In the evenings, my daughter played the piano in the living room, and it was very relaxing to just sit there and chill after a long day of sightseeing. This property is conveniently located near a bus stop (but not at in a busy area), so we were able to explore Seattle quite easily with this as our home base. Also, Tchaikovsky the dog is ADORABLE and friendly. I would definitely want to stay here again on a return trip to Seattle.

Such a lovely place! A gorgeous huge house wonderfully decorated and super unique. David was a wonderful host. We loved the breakfast in the morning getting to meet and chat with other guests. Really nice quiet neighbourhood as well that you can easily walk into central from or catch a bus!

So this is a fantastic location for visiting Seattle. I used to live a few blocks away from here so I realize the hidden gem that it is. You're 10 minutes tops to downtown and a short walk to the center of Capital Hill while not actually being in Capital Hill. There is off street parking and you get to stay in large, comfortable rooms. The folks running the place are nice and helpful. Plus breakfast is excellent.

I stayed here over a weekend while I was in Seattle for work and it was absolutely lovely. They were so amazingly accommodating with my super late night arrival and made sure I had easy to follow instructions to get into my room, as well as a video walkthrough which was so helpful. My room was upstairs and was quiet and cozy. The breakfast and coffee they serve in the morning is lovely and so nicely prepared. They knew me by name and chatted with me about my work and travels in the kindest way. It was super easy to get around to all the places I needed to go. I could’ve walked but there were so many things within a 5 minute drive in any direction. Restaurants, parks, coffee shops, you name it. The manor itself is such a gem, full of lovely decorations and gorgeous vintage charm. You can tell it’s been well cared for and loved. I spent a crisp fall morning out on their patio area watching leaves fall and listening to the fountain, and it was so serene and peaceful. I can’t wait to come back here when I’m not working so I can enjoy my time even more. 100 out of 5 stars for me.

Love this place. It's one of my favorite places to stay when I'm in Seattle. The breakfast is always great, and the gotess, Anne, was very personable and asking about guests' plans for the day. You always meet great people at breakfast. I would recommend this place if you want a nice stay in Seattle.
