Good and tasty indeed. Flavor of meats not really strong but overall is a good bite for the value. Long line at lunchtime but moves fairly quickly. Cash discount. Parking lot available and usually will find a space. I like to cut into four pieces and share.
Sadly didn’t live up to the hype. Thanks, Obama.
I came here because a friend recommended it. Even Obama visited this sub shop.
I got the #1 and #3 on wheat bread - I think they ran out of white bread at the time.
It’s a decent sub, but nothing out of this world. It definitely a huge sandwich and you get your bang for your buck. Taste-wise, it’s really whatever.
Probably not worth docking points, but I found a strand of hair in my sandwich. Honest mistake that could happen at any restaurant.
Overall, I still think Jimmy John’s serves better subs.
I order the whole, super sub with oil and vinegar. They also have spicy red peppers as an option. The service is very quick due to the assembly line-like process the owners put in place. Sometimes the line can be long, but it's bearable. What's unbearable is driving out of the parking area onto the street, which did not affect this review.
Three dollars for a bowl of soup that was mediocre and no salt in it. And for Italian wedding soup that's pretty lame. So the subs prices I've gone way up a little bit too much if you ask me. This place used to be a really good bargain and I would go out of my way to go there, but not anymore.
Each time I’ve gone the meat amount gets thinner and thinner. It’s crazy.
Used to come here years ago all the time. It was the best choice for a picnic or by the pool. (See pic) now when I get it I’m immediately disappointed. There’s so little meat all I taste is mayo and cheese. If you ask for extra meat it’s a big charge and still only a few pieces are added.
About to open up a competitive place if they keep lowering the bar if expectations for middlesex folks who want a sub. Might as well start charging $18 for 3 slices of turkey too and use the fact that Obama came one time as a reason for robbing their customers.
This is the area's best non-chain sandwich shop. No matter the size of your sub, it's worth every penny. Meat/cheese and toppings are proportionate to the amount of sub roll you have. Call ahead to pick your order - service is fast, convenient, and always great atmosphere!
This place is one of 2 places in the area I've seen where customers walk in AND out with a huge smiles on their faces - seeing that you just gotta try our their sandwiches
Staff is friendly and my phone orders are perfect. Nice incentive to pay in cash. Quality ingredients, it always tastes fantastic.
