This place was worth every bite! The owner was very personable and took care of us bring me and my family ice cream and they even had a new ginger flavor that was honestly some of the best tasting ice cream I’ve had in awhile. The sushi was delicious and well put together! The eel bowl was rich and thick flavoring. Some of the best sashimi too! If you want quality taste this is the place.

Finally a place with amazing takoyaki, definitely the best in the area. Can't wait to try more of their food; the quality, flavor and presentation was top notch. Chicken karaage was slightly salty but everything else was amazing, especially the eggplant w/ miso sauce. I hope this restaurant stays open!

There were so many options to choose from for food here! I ended up getting an udon set to sample a variety since I had a hard time deciding. The meal was filling and overall great value. Looking forward to coming back!

Their sushi prices recently went up to 1.50 - but the quality has always remained the same, and that's still very good! Given how post covid Era has hit a lot of businesses, I would gladly still support this local business with the price increase. The workers are really nice and hospitable. The food is always spot on for the price you get, and their lunch menu prices are just top-notch given the area its in. Can't beat it! Overall, I enjoy going here at least once a week for their food and cheap draft beers :) They even validate your parking!

We have been going here consistently for over a year now and have never had a bad experience. The food is always good and the service always on point. And it is very reasonably priced for how much food they give you. You can easily share dishes with your group too!

I finally got to try this Takohachi location and wasn't disappointed! The set meal I got was super delicious, and I enjoyed every bit of it! The only negative thing I'd make a remark about is that the food kinda took a while to come out, and the restaurant was pretty much empty 🥲 But, overall a solid 7/10! I'd come back! ☺️

This place was so good. We lived in Japan for 3 years and tasted some great Katsu Currys, from Coco's and local Japanese establishments and this restaurant has the exact same delicious flavor. The sushi was fresh and good. The appetizers were so delicious. The pork belly was so good that all 4 of my kids loved it. We order 4 orders. The seared tuna was nice. My wife's eel bowl was good & she loved the cheese curry. The dessert was great as well, from the tempura banana to the Mochi ice cream. As cheap as I can be, I will have no problem paying for quality food. This was quality all the way. Ohh, the best part was that the parking garage is not free, but the restaurant validates the parking for you.easily. May 27,2023 We went back again and the service was a bit weak this time. We love this restaurant and have found no other Japanese restaurant that we like nearly as much in the Washington and Northern Virginia area. We visited at lunchtime on each occasion and I especially love the sushi special lunch. It includes so many different things, and it's the first time I have enjoyed Tempura, because I usually find it tasteless. Theirs is magnificent! My husband enjoys the udon noodles and has had them with both curry and with pork katzu. I will return to edit this as soon as I am at my computer. Because I can't say enough good things about this restaurant!
