Stoney Creek Hotel Sioux City - Featured Reviews (1539)
When my husband and I arrived for our stay, the hotel was warm and welcoming. When we got into our room, it was clean and stocked. The water pressure in the shower was amazing and the temperature was perfect! The pool and hot tub was really cool with the waterfall effect which you can go under and through to the outdoor pool. Our stay was definitely 5 star rating! 🌟 totally recommend!
We have family here so have been visiting the area on and off for years since they opened. This hotel was nice when they first opened 15 years ago but the rooms are in serious need of an update! There was a chair in our room peeling so badly we were shocked they had it in there. It’s literal trash. The other chair with ottoman had a smell to it. The room wasn’t necessarily dirty but you could just see normal wear and tear that had not been addressed. Another example is me flipping up the lid to adjust the room temperature and the lid just completely falling off to the ground. The lobby and common areas aren’t bad but again, I could see the patio furniture is looking very worn. Service was unremarkable and nothing stood out to us. We would not stay here again.
Upon arrival Shelly greeted us with a smile! We booked thru a booking site over the phone, specified jacuzzi due to long travel on motor cycle. Unfortunately, reservation was incorrect however Shelly and her Mgr Billie went above and beyond when normally you’d have to return to booking site to correct issue. Thank you very much for the support and kindness ladies! We will definitely plan to return due to the impeccable service!
Stayed here for a few days while visiting family and this place is an oasis in downtown Sioux City. Hotel is clean, rooms are spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. Staff was great and no matter what time of day or night, there was always someone at the front desk to answer questions, provide additional towels or to purchase a snack or drink from their convenience store. They have coffee and water available 24 hours which is great for those early risers. There is also outside space with plenty of seating and a small pond where you can enjoy a late drink or an early morning cup of coffee. Hotel is centrally located so you can walk to the Hard Rock Casino, Historic 4th street or the river front.
My wife and I have stayed here several times. When we want to go on a date night in Sioux City, this is our go to Hotel. We also het a jacuzzi tub in our room, but this time we got an absolutely massive Master Suite. Per normal, this room was amazing. Own private balcony, fireplace! We loved it! Fairly pricey for one night, but worth it.
Absolutely beautiful hotel. I have nothing bad to say at all. The hotel was very full with lots of kids. Most of the kids were running up and down the halls throwing ice from the machine, but the staff was on it. Constantly asking them to stop and be decent (which fell on deaf ears) |The beds were comfortable although the fitted sheet kept coming off the bed. The large tub in our room was soo nice!! I will require all my hotel rooms to have that 🙂. |Just a really great place to stay. We will definitely be back!
Not at all as pictured. Pool is very, very small, no clean/dry towels, pool and area not clean. Rooms ok, not very clean, only 2 towels, no ice machines in working order. Key card did not work properly. Breakfast and politeness of staff were both very good.
The hotel rooms were nice, it was very warm and welcoming BUT the pool/hot tub..AWFUL. You’ll enter the pool room with a bathing suit of one color and leave that room with a different color bathing suit. My blue bathing suit isn’t blue anymore, it’s purple and pink. My eyes were red due to OVER CHLORINATION. I didn’t go under the water and multiple people were complaining about how bad their eyes stung. My eyes are still red and they hurt terribly. Please fix it. It was horrendous.
We had to spend the night unexpectedly due to some bad weather while traveling. I saw this hotel had similar/identical rates to other hotels nearby but had slightly larger rooms, so we booked a couple rooms and hoped for the best. Let me tell youâ¦t
Our family usually stays at a different Hilton hotel when in Sioux City, but this time we decided to try this hotel instead. Hilton hotels are usually without any serious complaints and this is no exception.
If traveling with children, this hotel is
Anne was absolutely amazing from the first time I spoke with her, through the duration of the 8 weeks. When my Daughter was awarded a Summer Internship and we were responsible for finding housing for 8 weeks in Iowa, to say I felt over whelmed was a
I've never had a bad experience there from my early childhood memory when it was a movie theater, to musicals, to concerts, and the symphony. The staff are very professional and it's even nice to come back and see their familiar face!
I was in town for a month, Abby and the team have created an amazing environment that is friendly, motivating, and challenging. Every coach I worked with was focused on form and safety. Itâs been more than a year since I had last done CrossFit, Coa
One of the best coffee shops in Sioux City and probably the oldest in the area. Worth checking it out. Amazing food made with fresh ingredients. A big range of signature coffee drinks, cold brew, iced coffee, iced tea, Vietnamese coffee, you name it,
