Starbucks - Coffee shop in Mesa - 1312 S Sossaman Rd, USA

They got low scores on the people rating because the people are rude. I was using the restroom during my trip and one lady knocked on the door and asked if I was okay. I was changing for work and it was not busy so there was nobody that needed the bathroom. I opened the door and said yes. I am changing. I'm almost done. I had looked at my phone before setting it down on the sink and I looked again after she had knocked. It had been 4 minutes. I thought that was strange. Then the door keypad could be heard and in walks another one not even 30 seconds later. She said I was just checking on you. What? She opened the door. I haven't even hit a 5 minute marker...wow. so I said, " yes I am fine. I am changing for work. Are you guys okay?" Then I exited and went to grab my notebook and pen and drink because I was there getting breakfast and doing my homework and I looked over and one girl said, you can't leave you phone there just charging. You can be with it but you can't go outside and leave it here. First of all it was a power bank. For portable charging. I had my phone in the bathroom with me. Second, I was in the bathroom. So needless to say 1 of the 5 times I've been there to do homework four outfits those five times have been with rude and wrongly assuming people. Not good because it is right by my daughter's place and I go there after seeing her. My advice to them is to not be so judgemental. Don't judge a book by its cover. Other than that they make good coffee. Never complained of their capability. But their manners though....

Personally, I am not an expert on coffee. But I LOVE a good coffee drink. I just wish the online ordering was a little more user friendly for us non-experts. I once got a Vente cup, with about 25% of the cup filled with what I thought was my own mocha with some added flavors delivered to my front door. 🤣

So I basically get the same drink every time. The only thing that changes is maybe the syrup flavor. I asked the girl at the window if they had put in the double shot of espresso because it is usually darker than than what she handed. So she turned to ask the girl that made it and she said it does, as I drive off I started drinking it and I taste no espresso. Shame on me for trusting the girl that it did and shame on them for not trying to fix it and still charged me for the double shot.

I love this location because of Mia. She is an amazing barista who always brings a smile to my face. Her positive attitude towards customers makes this a welcoming place. Plus, every drink she has made for me has been on point! Rock on, Mia! We appreciate you taking care of us.

I get a coffee, breakfast, and a pup cup every Saturday and Sunday at this location. The excellent staff goes above and beyond to ensure Max gets his pup cup.

Great store, friendly people. I have begun a writing habit here twice a week and the staff has begun remembering my order which feels awesome. I highly recommend coming here.

At this point I’ve been to hundreds of Starbucks locations around the country including the first ever store in Seattle. This location has the most kind baristas I’ve ever come across, and my drink was perfect!! Store was clean, with merchandise well organized. Tons of seating, calm atmosphere!
