Colorful! Lots of trails, for riding ATV's, lots of people camping. Personally out there for recreational target shooting.

Absolutely beautiful with another breathtaking sunset. We boondocked a few nights here. The people need to take better care of this place when visiting though. Lots of glass and bullets everywhere.

About 2 miles down a gravel road from I8. Super quiet. Great breeze. We were here in February. Saw one other RVer. Check out the abandoned ranch, kind of cool.

Pretty place. There is public land near here that you are able to camp on. Beautiful area!

It's sweet. We stopped and went into the desert and got the pictures of the cactus. And the informational ones at a rest stop. Get gas when possible when driving through a desert. Lava rocks in this desert. I even saw a lizard.

Great place to get out and walk with the dogs on the never busy gravel/dirt roads. Watch for snakes and scorpions if getting off the road. Amazing how much wildlife is out here if you just watch/listen quietly.
