SoHo Kitchen & Bar - American restaurant in Sioux City - 1024 4th St, USA

Some very trendy sounding dishes but unfortunately the execution was poor. I would say it was okay lunch food. Our waiter was poor, tried to make us feel bad for returning soggy nacho chips.

Wanted to updated my 5 star from 6 years ago. The service and atmosphere are still top notch! Definitely would drop in for a beer anytime. Unfortunately, the food has taken a bit of a turn down but isn't bad. They were previously known for some great burgers but the burger I had last night was a frozen, pre-made patty with little flavor except all the toppings. Salads are super fresh and other dishes are still on point but something seems to be slipping a bit. We'll be back.

A lot of my ‘gram followers were confused when I said I was at SoHo Kitchen & Bar. They said, I thought you were in Sioux City this weekend, not NYC. I then had to explain that SoHo in this city is a fun little bar and grill. Good food, very cheap and a great selection of beer. Only complaint was that they had a Fat Tire neon sign but they didn’t have the tire in draught. They did have clean bathrooms to snap a quick selfie for the gram. Overall a very good experience.

The atmosphere was neat. Staff was very friendly. I'd go again. The steak was very stringy and not very tasty. The dessert was delicious however.

For some reason I always feel like it's super cold in this building when I go eat here. But overall good experience good food very nice waitresses or waiters depending on what you get.

SoHo was absolutely a must stop for us. Clean restaurant, food made from scratch, and the staff was amazing to work with. Will definitely be adding to our "must stop again" list the next time we are through.

My husband and I ordered the hot beef and the chicken pesto with balsamic glaze it looked amazing but didn’t taste amazing. The chicken had a funny can like taste so don’t eat much of it. I left the restaurant and immediately puked. Not sure if it was bad or what. My husband said it was almost the worst hot beef he’s had and if it wasn’t for the mashed potatoes and fries we would have left the same way we came, hungry! It was terrible.

I asked for a medium to medium rare hamburger patty. The waitress explained that the cook does that every time when asked to. It's kinda hard to cook a frozen patty to medium rare. It came out fully cooked. For $13.00 you would think that they would use fresh ground beef and be able to cook the hamburger patty as ordered. It's advertised as a 1/2 pound patty. Looked more like a 1/4 pound. Been there twice........ Strike 2 !
