Shops at Rivercenter - Shopping mall in San Antonio - 849 E Commerce St, USA

The overall experience at shops at Rivercenter was awesome. Other than the $5 per hour, everything was great. Close by the river walk, sight seeing of river walk within the mall was also enjoyable and relaxing, especially when the sun shed in(simply beautiful and enjoying). My kids enjoyed the sky trail there($11.75 under 48 inches in height), while my wife enjoyed her time shopping and relaxing. This place is hard to beat for a family to visit.

Last visited: Dec’ 23, two days after X-Mas. The River Walk is like a waking dream, it is well architected and designed I will have to say. Especially if you visit around Christmas time. The lights and backlighting around the overhanging trees is simply a sight to behold. Well done. The sheer amount of choice of restaurants and venues around the Rivercenter, is simply unbelievable. I did not walk the whole of the board walk to see all the shops as I ran out of time, but what impressed me is how many shops they have here, of so many different types of food, ice cream, and other stuff for sale. However. There are a few points that prohibit this from being a five-star experience. - The people and rather passerby here are unkind to me and to others in general. They are too wrapped up in their world to care about anyone else. - At the time we came, around 9pm, most shops were closing and quoted a wait time of over an hour, sometimes an hour and half of wait. We had to choose one restaurant which had a reasonable wait time, but it is unfortunate that we were limited in selection of place to eat dinner at, so am rating down for the minus in experience. All in all, there are a remarkable amount of selection in shops at the river center or rather river walk area in San Antonio (SA/TX), however oft times shops are busy and the selection will actually be severely limited. Also, the people here are unkind to others and need to loosen up. However, I’ll give that a pass as the river walk and boat tour itself is mildly interesting and worth it at the least.

River Center Mall has improved tremendously over the years. Park in the garage and walk straight in. Tons of shopping and great restaraunt choices. Access to the riverwalk. A perfect spot for anyone living in or visiting San Antonio, Texas!

Very interesting place. Great place to go with your loved one or family member or just to get out the house and have some fun in an interesting environment with multiple different shopping stores. It's built very weirdly depending on where you enter and all the sales people are very aggressive and don't take no for an answer especially Wyndham. I don't want to sit in a 45 minute presentation or be harassed when I'm just trying to find the food court.

I loved this mall so much !! I had never been there before!! I will definitely be going back very soon!! I actually ran out of time and wasn’t able to finish completely walking around. It had so much to see and the whole place is just completely breathtaking you will enjoy the view the whole time you are there.

Nice riverside walk, lovely and colorful shops on both the sides of river, Mexican delicacies, live performances, and many more! Must go at least once in San Antonio!
