Sharky's Beachfront Restaurant - Restaurant in Panama City Beach - 15201 Front Beach Rd, USA

Great beach atmosphere, food was decent. The place was pretty packed, but the service was on point. Most of what we ate was slightly over cooked, but still had good flavor. Would like to try it again for some oysters or a couple of their signature drinks. Good place if you have kids that like to make noise, definitely a louder setting. All in all, would eat here again, but not a top priority.

Standard beachside restaurant with pretty basic beachside food. They do offer alcoholic drinks that you can walk off and enjoy on the beach. We ordered the fried calamari with a side of the lime rice, the peel and eat shrimp and a kids fish and chips. All food came out lukewarm (minus the shrimp) but was delicious tasty. Our server was attentive. Overall meal was okay.

One of our favorite restaurants. Great drinks food and atmosphere. Their drinks come in a large refillable tumbler and you can take the tumble back on an other trip and get $4 off. Also good at Runaway Island and Hammerhead Fred for the same $4 off. Service was excellent and the tiki hut atmosphere is pretty kool.

Came here in early January 2023 for a quick sandwich and a walk by the beach. I had the alligator tail po boi sandwich and a soda drink. Prices are fair and the service was also par. The food itself was nothing special but the ambience and the mood by the beach makes the place special. If you’re looking for elevated cuisine I would recommend somewhere else but if you are okay with par food but an amazing setting then this is your spot.

Make sure to order your burgers med well or they will come out burnt. Mixed drinks were good and Had an amazing Waiter named Gregory - Super Service and had great recommendations on different products. Was also very helpful on buying souvenir cups for the grandsons!!!

The view was by far the best part. It's was a great vibe with outdoor seating centered around an opening bar. My co-worker convinced us to try oysters for an appetizer. I'm not a fan,  but she loved them. I got the pepper crusted tuna for my entry which was delicious. I would have loved go back after work for food and drinks.

Our waiter had a Caribbean accent. Above average server, polite, kind excellent sense of humor. It shows that he enjoys his job. This young man has served tables here for three years. We will be back n hope he will be our server again. We had calamari and wings along with a couple of stress relief drinks (excellent).

TLDR: I wouldn't recommend this place. I found this place on maps and decided to visit based on the reviews. I found the hostesses to be nice but our first server - the guy who took our drinks were less than thrill to serve us. He must have sensed it because after we asked to move to another table (our umbrella was broken) and he did he was a no show for the rest of the night - we miraculously had a new server. She was kinda better but if you're looking for personalized service this is not the place. Too many people. I understand. For starters we had fried calamari, and fried alligators. The gators were tough. It tasted frozen. I didn't enjoy. The calamari on the other hand was fresh and tasted good. That was the highlight of the night. The drinks we had were overpriced, tasted like a drink that was already pre made and poured out of a bottle. The entrees were bland too. We had the Red fish snapper, and the shrimp dinners. Nothing fancy about them. Overall I'd rate 2.5 over 5. I'll not be back.
