Overall, its a fun family trip experience. The fish and animals are always a pleasure to see. The best part would have to be the interaction between animals such as the fish, Sloths, Capybara, rabbits, chickens, and sea otters. Unfortunately, this year there appears to be a slight shortage in staff which does leave many areas minimally attended or unattended. The staff working made the experience amazing for what it was 👏🏽.

Sea Quest was AMAZING!!! We all loved it!! Young and old!! We did the deluxe tour and we got to feed and pet so many creatures!! The sloth and the cappibera and the stingrays were my favorite!! There are soooo many cool creatures there!! And our tour guide was such a fun lady!! Thank You Sea Quest for a wonderful day!!!

This place is truly horrifying. Before you go, google “is SeaQuest ethical?” and you will get a list of lawsuits they are involved in for the mistreatment of animals. The fish barely have any room to swim, they’ve packed so many in at a time (see photo.) Look at the sad tortoise’s barely fenced in area on cement floors. And there’s a display of what our trash-filled ocean looks like, complete with poor fish swimming around… for what purpose? To abuse fish further? The animals seem so depressed, so neglected and so abused, even my carnivore-hunter husband was disturbed by it. The cherry on top of a terribly sad experience is that it smells disgusting in there. It’s obvious that the animal areas are not cleaned often or well maintained. The staff is friendly, however. My husband and I decided to donate double what we paid to be at SeaQuest to an animal rights welfare fund to clear our consciences. I used the opportunity to teach my daughter about the exploitation of animals. Spend your money and time at the nearby Folsom Animal Sanctuary where they care for animals that cannot be released back into the wild.

I'm only giving it 3 stars because I feel it's a little pricey, still worth seeing the smile on my son's face. If you have the extra cash it can be very fun. Lots of interaction with animals from feeding a toucan to petting a sloth or wallaby or snorkel with sting rays surprisingly alot of cool stuff in a small space just wish it was a little cheaper. Keep in mind if you do want interaction with the bigger animals you must make appointments. First time there but we will be back again! By the way my 8 year old is autistic and thus was a great activity for him!

We love this place is great for kids, is accessible and good place to have some times with my family. Folsom sea Quest is bit expensive but worth it great value for your money. We had lots things to see animals, fish and retails items to choose. Great place to have time with kids.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. This was our first time visiting and we will absolutely never be back. After a 2 hour drive with our 1 year old daughter we waited 5 hours to get in after checking in using the QR code when you get there (Even with our pre purchased tickets). We missed our animal interaction also, but that isn’t the part that I’m furious about. This place made me sick to my stomach, I am absolutely appalled. Anyone that’s visited with a heart and a tiny bit of knowledge knows and understands when I say, the conditions these poor animals are being kept in is HORRIFIC. Mammals, reptiles, and aquatics alike, not one single enclosure we saw was appropriate for the animals housed in it. These poor animals never see the sun, the building is dimly lit, the smell is horrible, the whole place is falling apart. Mammals looked unbelievably stressed, withdrawn and sick. Reptiles were very inappropriately housed (cohabitation and no proper light) and many of the aquatic life looked bright red from severe ammonia burns telling me their water conditions are horrible. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND how this place is in business and It needs to be shut down!!!! My one year old daughter is a huge lover of fish and animals and even she seemed to be upset the whole 35 mins we were in there. She has been to Monterey Bay Aquarium 3 times and the Zoo twice and had an absolute blast each time. But here? She didn’t enjoy a single second of it and I feel disgusted as a mother and lover of animals for taking her here and allowing her to witness this. PLEASE do not waste your time or money supporting this place and their animal abuse!!

Really awesome spot to take kids to. There is so much to look at and to interact with. It’s very hands on experience unlike zoo’s so it’s way more fun. The staff is great and will answer any questions for you . They are very helpful and friendly. I don’t say this very often but it took me a very long drive from woodland to get here , but it was well worth it . My kid had a total blast and was smiling from ear to ear after we left.
