The only good - the staff. We arrived and promptly found another place to stay. Elevators didn’t work. Stairs are rusted. The room has no phone and if you call the front desk there is no answer. The room is old, beds are stained. We stayed here years ago and it was wonderful, now… I wish the bugs had better lodging. Don’t do it.

I got room at surf and it was actually good. Me and my family saw those people cleaning up our rooms and we got a room. The service was bad when we tried to get our key. Some person got mad over one of the ladies that worked there. Anyways we got ocean view and we smelled the sea water all the way at our hotel. And the pool was really cool. We saw some friends to and made friends. And we took a look around and we drives to some souvenir shops, so it was really amazing and we saw the sunset on our second day. It really beautiful.

Deplorable!!! I should have known at check out, because two guests were complaining, and wanting refunds. Our rooms were not thoroughly cleaned, had no phone (no biggie, but the principle), and the television had no service. I made several attempts to call the front desk, an no one would answer. I made 3 trips to the front desk asking when the television would work, and was told they are working on it. The next day still no television service, and it was then that I realized, the hotel had not paid their bill to Direct TV...UGH. We couldn't get a refund, so we (hubby and I) made the best of our Labor Day holiday weekend. My husband and I have been having a tough go of things lately, so a 5 hour ride to the beach on a holiday day weekend seemed to be great idea, only to get this sad excuse for a hotel as our residence for 4 days. We paid $700.00 for Sea Mist compared to the $1800.00 to stay at our usual spot. Cheaper is not always better. Never again!!! And oh, when we asked the front desk for toilet paper, the instructed to find housekeeping, and when we finally saw a housekeeping cart, he said he didn't have any! We bought some, but Damn!!!

HORRIBLE!!!!!|We just got back and this was THE WORST STAY EVER!!!! I will never recommend or go back. First we got checked in and got our keys. The first room and was terrible! The bathroom is tiny and the sink is outside of the bathroom. The beds looks like they were made in a rush. The guy at the desk was nice and I encounter another lady who was also having the same issue. We both got a new room assignments. This was not much better. I did not see any bugs and I could see that efforts were made to clean the room. This resort is old and has not been maintained. The updates made are poorly done. The shower and the toilet leaked. We told a man and he sent someone there. NOTHING was done. We saw someone servicing the rooms and asked for clean towels. This was Friday. There was no one seen Saturday to ask for towels. The room is cooled with a window unit which blew in my face and on my back all night. Needless to say I did not sleep because the room was just not comfortable at ALL!!!!!

1. Website says it's Pet Friendly, and has a $75 pet fee. Upon arrival they told me it's NOT pet friendly and if anyone asks to say I have a service animal. The Pet Policy page on their website is down. Tried calling & e-mailing ahead of time with no response.||2. Lack of employment at the front desk during busy times. One worker is trying to manage the desk and phones, so phones just don't get answered. Lobby was gross, smelled musty, damp and the carpet was not only covered in staines but littered with garbage on the floor like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. ||3. No parking. They direct you down the street to your building and even though there is a parking garage and a few street spots, they were all completely full. Leaving us to park back up at registration and walk down with all our luggage, dog and baby. Super inconvenient. ||4. Room was mediocre, sand on the floors and sheets. Bathroom was missing bath towels, when I called down to the desk for some they said they were too busy and I'd be better off coming to get them myself. Mind you, the registration office is a walk up the street, not just right downstairs.||5. We booked a balcony room and the balcony door didn’t open at all. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but no answer so I gave up. ||6. All of the pools were closed except one. So they had one pool open for like 4 buildings. The rest of them were lime green, hadn’t been drained, cleaned or maintained in god knows how long. It was disgusting. The water park also isn’t open, with no warning ahead of time, there wasn’t anything on the website or when booking. Both the pools and the water park are beyond outdated, paint chipping and peeling everywhere.||7. Overall, the entire property is very very outdated and in poor condition. The closure of the pools and water park were really disappointing but the location/proximity to the beach was great.

DO NoT waste your money I lost have of my mine. Walked in and got checked in went to the room was terrible stains all over the couch and bed. Looked like someone just checked out and hasn’t been cleaned. Let’s not forget about the water park hasn’t worked in four years per the management there. Online never says anything about the water park not working! I get offered another room just NO smelled horrible! Looks nothing like pictures.complaining did absolutely no good. Two people behind me were having the same issue. This place needs major updating and pictures have to be from years ago. You would die looking at pictures online vs what it looks like in person.

Absolutely trash. Do not come here. They want you to pay 20$ a night for parking that’s down the street? The rooms were filthy but they had the audacity to shoot a text saying make sure we clean up after ourselves? Honestly the only friendly human being in this location was the security guard that checked us in that night. Save your money and time and find literally anywhere else lol - a motel 6 would be an upgrade to be completely frank.

This place is a scam. Be aware they will charge you the cancelation fee regardless of the situation they don't care if is their fault. I booked here a stay upon arrival to the room right away you can feel a odor like mold it makes it hard to breathe. The room was dirty, there was no tv signal, no phone on unit, appliances were really old and some damage. The worst there was a big leak on the toilet so they sent someone to fix it but he took it apart it was ridiculous. So I went to the front desk. Joe an employee told me that they have no more rooms available so the only option was to void the whole stay. So I had no more option but to accept it. But later I found out that the cancelation fee never went back to my account. I went back to the hotel and I Sabrina the front supervisor was really rude and disregarded basically she didn't care about my experience and complain and she said that the money no matter what was not going to be refund. It was 374.69 dollars. So don't stay here.
