Sandy Beach Resort - Resort hotel in Myrtle Beach - 201 S Ocean Blvd, USA

Everything was exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was a treat. The balcony is really for one person, tiny but the views are beautiful! The pillows were not comfortable but we just bought another one to use. The pools and grounds are very well kept and the elevators are fast.Many restaurants close, the boardwalk is a mile away.

I had a wonderful time with my sons. It was the first time I had been to the beach. It's so beautiful there & I can't wait to go back soon. Hopefully we will stay at the Sandy Beach Resort, everyone was really nice & the rooms were nice and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Its the place to stay at when you go to the beach. See you next time.

Upon arriving there was a horrible smell that filled the bottom level where the pool area was that led to the elevators. I got to the lobby to check in the staff was helpful. I got to my room and was not expecting how ugly the decor was. When I first stayed at the resort I stayed in a two bedroom suite that was gorgeous. The checkout experience was okay until a security guard told me me my mother that we were to take our trash out the room and our sheets out the room down the hall. I’ve never stayed at a resort that told us to do that. Lastly I only came on this visit to experience the indoor pool and hot tub. So I didn’t get to experience none of the amenities I paid for. Also wasn’t told before hand that the pop and hot tub was shut down. I would’ve changed my dates that way I would’ve enjoyed my stay this was one of the worst vacation I’ve had

This place is amazing!! Cody was our host and he is amazing as well!! The 3 bedroom was very spacious and beautiful!! The pools hot tubs and beach was amazing!! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a getaway to Myrtle Beach! It’s perfectly placed with lots of beautiful views and amenities near by!

I’m usually a budget traveler and somehow this popped up in my budget category. It was a one bedroom with balcony RIGHT ON THE BEACH. We watched the sun rise from the Murphy bed in the LR. Kitchenette is great although not well equipped. Walking on the beach is very accessible and close to boardwalk to N Myrtle Beach.

Right by the amusement park, which is convenient during seasonal operation. Rooms were nice, but it seemed not to have had a thorough clean before us, but not unacceptable. We were only asked once during our stay if we wanted our room serviced: maybe they meant linen change, and they do only do that on the 3rd night. Housekeeping did knock daily to see if we needed towels or anything, but when I asked if she wanted me to bring the dirty towels or garbage out to the cart, she pointed me to a sign above a door that said "linen/garbage" and told me I could put it all in there: I have never experienced this before, here or at other resorts, they've always taken them. All-in-all it was a good stay.

Travelled during the holiday and spent Christmas in Myrtle Beach. So glad we did! Codey's place is the place to stay if your visit! Has everything you need right there and the VIEW?!?! What can I say, it is absolutely beautiful! Watched the sunrise every morning from my balcony :)

Our room was dated. I suppose they need a renovation. We rented a 3 bedroom for a week. The room was clean and service came every day to see if we needed anything. Kudos to the maintenance staff. When we arrived we realized on day 2 that our refrigerator was not working. We had plenty of food that would be wasted. Maintenance came and tried to repair the fridge but decided to replace the fridge instead - good call. We had a room on the top floor, ocean view and pool side. The outdoor patio was spacious. Even though there was some noise on the weekends from people partying into the night, we didn't hear much of it. I suppose management should cut off the partying at some reasonable time. The hotel has a private beach and is close to attractions. Parking is no problem because parking lot has plenty of room. This is not a 5 star hotel but this should be expected given the cost of a room. If you are going to central Myrtle Beach this is probably one of the better hotels except for the 5 star resorts.
