its NOT a Museum its a Federal Building, we walked 2 miles there and of course 2 miles back.
A tour person in one of the info booths told us to go there for a tour.
Thanks for nothing mate!!!! you ruined my day I have bad knees and could have spent the day walking round the city, instead we walked there and back I could not do anymore walking till the next day.
South there is a well kept military cemetery with historic interesting graves.
And VERY expensive homes.
I have been to St Augustine many times but never ventured to the south end of marine street. Really enjoyed reading all the plaques along the street. Seeing the cannons and reading about the rich history of the city and the barracks was something special. Thanks to all who have served and continue to protect our home land. 🇺🇸
Me and my co worker Morris walked to the Florida National Guard to ask them if they would attend a surprise birthday party for one of our regular guests who turned 99 years old. Bill Manley was super supportive by sending an email out to the troops and showing up the very next day. It was a last minute idea and we appreciate you making it happen. Thank you for all you do!
Always an honor to attend a special event at such a historic location.
What an awesome feeling.
Don’t park in their empty parking lot at 7:30 in the morning, the security guard will come out and tell you to leave because it’s government property. Welcome to St Augustine!
Amazing men and women who serve this Country, can't say enough about how proud and honored to even be in the building, they put everything on the line for us. And the Historical lady is absolutely 💯 amazing, so much history and she knows it by heart, it was too listen to her tell us about the very ground we were standing on. Very thankful for people like her and our great Military personnel and their families. Keep them in your prayers.
A must to go see and the historical places nearby, saunter thru vintage shops, businesses, cemetery, roadways, will visit again.

The complex includes a beautiful courtyard and different exhibits in multiple buildings. Very enjoyable tour led by knowledgeable and friendly guides. It amazes me how sometimes you pay so little for such enriching, entertaining experiences.
It was a wonderful experience atop the light house. One has to climb up more than 200 stairs but the view from up there is worth it.

This place is magical. It takes you back in time. Shows you wooden objects and various other things. Glassware and statuesque photos of time when it was in the early stages of a state. Recommend if you are in the area. Only a few hours to go throu

A new favorite place for us!! We're on a progressive meal crawl. Something we do when we come here. We ordered the fried clams meal and it did not disappoint! ðð»ðThe clams were very fresh and huge. Fried in a light flavorful batter - not gre
Great little spot. Stopped in for my first time and had the Asada Bowl. Solid little bite of food, I must say. Good choice of hot sauces for the dips. The staff was very personal and welcoming.
