Rodeway Inn & Suites New Paltz - Hudson Valley - Hotel in New Paltz - 601 Main St, USA

Was nearly put off by the reviews I had read - glad I wasn’t the reception was fine it looked newly renovated, the room was large and clean with two queen beds in it. The location is a little out of town but that you can see from the map. The walls were solid and no noise transference, the long corridors of with rooms off of it is typical of a motel. There are low income people staying at the far end of the ‘complex’ - but my experience was fine and the price was extremely good.

The rooms in the facility were clean and comfortable. It met all of my needs for a quick place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended.

My expectations weren’t very high since I’ve never stayed at any of these hotels before however, this hotel there’s nothing wrong with the room I had I was in room 126. The bathroom was a big surprise. It was very clean all the fixtures look like they were brand new the bed was comfortable not too keen on the heating and air-conditioning but hey, it’s an older hotel.| My only issue is I wish that the lights in the parking lot came on when people walked around out there. It was pretty dark out there when I woke up about 5 AM other than that I got no issues at all. Yeah, the hallway carpet had a funny smell. It wasn’t horrible, but it just smelled a little off but they could fix that Easily| The room is just what I expect is a refrigerator. There’s a microwave and like I said, I got a king size bed. Definitely worth stopping again for a good nights sleep.

Positive: Nothing Negative: The AC was very loud. Couldn?t sleep/the halls stunk like mldthe pressure was almost no existent. The fridge was stained & filthy with the freezer com lock was broken started typing everything that was wrong and went over limit for my characters on this

This hotel was great. It was so quiet and peaceful. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful. Thank you!

Gross. Toilet plugged & overflowed in early morning. Waited to contact front desk. Requested a bathroom to use because ours was toxic & was given a key card to a room where someone had just checked out - not a cleaned room. Put toilet paper on the seat, did the duty, washed hands & left the hotel. Yuck!

Positive: price was right Negative: It's dingy. Carpets are very dirty. Coffee maker didn't work. Toilet plugged and there wasn't a plunger, it overflowed creating a toxic mess. Clerk offered us keys to a room where someone else had just checked out - and the place wasn't full. YUK! Negative: ""

Very clean room with microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine. King sized bed was very comfortable. I asked for additional pillows. No problem. |Sunny, the manager is super friendly and even remembered me staying overnight last Fall. Definitely would recommend, especially for a price that is well below what other places in the area charge.
