It was a magikal day @ the beach. 💫🌊The water was extremely receded and I was able to walk out a very far distance from the shore. I saw coral reef that was moist & spongy. There were a lot of birds flying around & eating dead crabs. 😔 I absolutely love being at the beach!!! ❣☺

The beach is nice and relatively clean. Can get verycrowded, but that is expected. There is a very close parking lot. Police is patrolling around, both with cars and ATV. The restrooms need a better maintenance - the smell around them is disturbing. Worth visiting the beach and spending a nice day there, and sn't forget the sunscreen protection .

Best beach to take your dogs. There are a lot of dogs around for your dog to play with. Edit- editing to 5 star review. We just went to the east side of the beach last time. When you actually go in from the main parking lot, this beach has a lot to offer. A few hiking trails, bbq spots, plenty of parking spots. The water is calm and best for tubing with less to no waves. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and still this side of the beach was almost at full capacity. Maybe because you normally don’t get close to 90 degrees on late October. We hanged out around for the sunset which was amazing.

Super fun beach, very safe swimming for the kids. We walked wayyyyyy out there & did not find anywhere we couldn't stand up. If you care about being on the sand, arrive early b/c there isn't that much sand. We didn't care about that though b/c we spend all our time in the water, which is surprisingly clear. Oh & you can check the water quality before going to make sure it's safe. Also would be a great place to kayak or SUP etc.

I love the low tide because it allows you to actually be able to play and be in the water. Great for kids. Water was at first touch cold, but you get used to it fast. It's not piercing cold. We always find parking in the designated parking lot.

Lovely beach, great water & ideal place to beat the heat. Now this is the bay so it's going to be colder than inland, it's going to be windy which makes for fun waves in the water. So dress up - get your wind cheaters, full suit swim wear for the kids & you'll be just fine. The water temperature is great, unlike the ocean, so you can spend a good amount of time splashing around in the super shallow shore, not bothered about rip currents large waves etc. Get your floaties, life jackets whatever that allow you to chill on the water. This is a long stretch of beach, so plenty of street parking - you can park right along the shore & setup picnic on the warm sand. Restrooms are an issue, but there are plenty of shops, a McD around so you need to plan accordingly. Didn't see any picnic tables, may be they weren't there where we setup.

Nice to take a stroll there when it is green after the rain and ducks have plenty of water in the pond.
