Retro Fitness - Gym in Edison - 3775 Park Ave UNIT 9, USA

The facility has a strong, unsanitary odor that makes it uncomfortable to work out. The cleanliness standards at this gym are extremely poor, posing a risk of contracting diseases or viruses. There's a lack of personal responsibility among gym-goers, and the employees and management seem indifferent towards maintaining cleanliness and professionalism. Instead of prioritizing business standards, the atmosphere resembles more of a casual hangout spot.

Just wanted to commend Casey, she always greets everyone with a smile and amazingly she remembers everyone’s name. Casey is one big reason this Retro is one of the best. She is a great manager and people person, always working, but not too busy to be nice. I misplaced my iPhone twice at the gym and she held my iPhone until I returned. Thank you Casey! If you like the smell of armpits and funky sweat..this is the place for you. The smell smacks you right in the face when you walk through the door. Its very cramped and the machines are inches from each other and there is no ventilation. The floors have muck and the work out mats have sweat stains on them. Also by the exits you can see garbage bags on the floor and no one in sight to take them out. Grossest gym ever been to.

Great gym. Helpful staff & clean. My ONLY Complaint is people that slam down the weight. If you have to slam it down then it's to heavy for you !! Plus if your going to just sit on the machine and just text have a little gym adequate & do that OFF the machine and let us serious lifters 💪 do our work out. Thank you.

I've been going to this gym since they opened. The staff and other clientele are always friendly and the gym is clean. They recently upgraded some of the machines, which is nice. All in all it's a great gym.

Very good gym . Nice and friendly staff members. I registered online … easy to register and just go and start workout . 3 different pricing models , perfect for every needs .. they had a thanksgiving deal for dec free and it’s good. Parking can be tough sometimes , but overall a very good location. Just next to DAS cricket and badminton. So , during cricket days , we can work out here and then play cricket. Need to try the classes and spin theater sometime. Thumbs up to the whole team :)

This fitness center is right on park avenue close to the oak tree road and talmadge. Around 36$ per month with premium membership and annual fee around 45$. Can bring the guest with you. I tried different gym memberships in last 4 years like LA, esporta, orange theory, planet and finally ended up here in retro as i live very close to this. But they have the new gym, LA coming very near to this one and its a bit hit to this gym. These guys doesn’t have pool, no basketball courrs, no sauna, very old equiptment but they still charge us 36$ per month. Try this place only if they give out discounts or prmotions.

Clean , airy fitness center that is perfect for casual exercise to collegiate athletic training. General Manager Casey takes great pains to ensure superb white glove service that far exceeds what I have experienced from the upscale Lifetime and Equinox chains. A truly world class facility in Edison.
