It was near closing time. There was no chance of a tour at our visit, but I will surely book ahead of time for another visit. The literature was very interesting. They give out samples of adult truffles (buffalo trace bourbon), and they sell boo-boo truffles, which was my choice. Other choices are available. The artifacts are interesting to look at. Just make sure not to park in the area for the VFW. For fun, get pictures with the horse statue and the old motorized horse.

20230912 same friendly services!! Love shopping at Rebecca Ruth!! Just spent $113 on a box of bourbon truffles, bourbon cherries, bourbon toffee, 8 dark chocolate bars, 10 milk chocolate bar, and 8 dark cocoa bars. 20220719 I really enjoyed my visit here today! The employees are so friendly, helpful and informative! I got a little history, and a piece of the bourbon ball to sample. I bought a box of bourbon caramel candy, a dozen if mini chocolate bar, a box of mixed pulled candy, and 2 bottles if bourbon hot sauce. I might come back tomorrow and probably buy a box of mini chocolate to pass out at work. I need to try one first, to find out if I like the taste and texture. I mentioned to them that I am afraid the chocolate might melt because I'm going to the Arboretum at UK, and they were so nice to give me a block of ice. Good thing I always travel with a cooler, and there's an ice machine at the hotel. I am pretty sure they will make it home in perfect condition! Please support small businesses!

Great little random stop as we were coming through Kentucky… we love chocolate so we definitely had to stop and check it out! A lot of history and tons a chocolates to choose from along with some other candies! Can’t wait to taste the chocolates we got, wasn’t much just enough to enjoy the experience.

You have to stop here after your tour of Buffalo Trace. This is the original bourbon ball candy and the best you will ever try! Actually everything that Rebecca Ruth has is great! If you stop around Easter, you need to buy a few chocolate peanut butter eggs!

Made a quick trip to Frankfort to visit Rebecca Ruth candy and tour. I have been wanting to do it for years. I enjoyed the tour and it was very informative. Only takes about 30 minutes and you get a free sample. It’s hard to believe that so much candy comes out of such a small facility

The ladies working are so nice and knowledgeable. I had an issue while there. No idea what happened but my finger randomly started bleeding. One of the girls came to my rescue with aquaphor and a bandaid. We stopped due to hearing wonderful things about bourbon balls from buffalo trace. They really are the best. I will be back whenever I’m in Kentucky.

The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and offered us a free sample bourbon ball for our first visit. It was tasty. The shop was well organized and quaint with a good variety of chocolates, candies, souvenirs and other unique finds. They have flavors of cotton candy I have not see anywhere else.
