Always a beautiful spot to take a walk, watch the surfers and enjoy the weather. Free public parking, bathrooms and showers. Be careful of the bikers and remember to share to the walk space!
One of the most heavenly places on earth. Don’t miss it.
Great place to see the sunrise when it's not too cloudy.
Weather was perfect, between storms. Very low tide. Cliff top path is well maintained and offers great views. There are several nice stairways along path to small beaches that are only accessible at low tides. Watch out for random large waves!
This is the last photo of this seabird before it passed away.
Today at this beach, I found this lovely seabird. It was friendly and allowed me to take photos up close. But then a unleashed dog attacked it, and I couldn't stop it. It was heartbreaking to see this happen right in front of me, one moment I was taking pictures of it, and the next moment it was dead on this sunny afternoon. Please be mindful of your pets, and keep them on a leash or indoors. Let's prevent tragedies like this from happening again.
Most people are familiar with Westcliff, but Eastcliff is sometimes a hidden gem, so unless you live nearby, you might miss this little spot. It is not as long as Westcliff drive, but you still get a nice beach stroll with some amazing views.
There’s not as much foot traffic, either. I love all the stairways down to the water. Getting out here first thing in the morning with the sunrise or last thing at night with the sunset, you won’t be disappointed with this view
.
I love taking in the fresh air and enjoying the local surfers catch waves. If you are in the neighborhood, you should stop by and take it all in.
Nice surfing Park. There is shower and bathroom. Eat walk down to the water with steps
Beautiful views. Very nice trail to follow up along the cliff. There is not much actual "beach" and it would not be a good place to swim or bring kids to play in the water. Getting down to the actual water is a steep climb. A lot of local surfers come here to surf. Keep in mind there is zero parking along the beach and even parking in the neighborhoods can be tricky due to rules keeping residents parking open and locals purchasing parking permits. If you are within walking distance, however you can enjoy a very lovely scenic stroll.
