Plattsburgh City Beach - City park in Plattsburgh - 4 Beach Rd, USA

Very nice place, no shade on the beach but if you need some break from the sun you can go for a walk on that lovely little trail tht goes along. Though be aware the lake hassome heavy polution issues if you see blue/green algae on the beach, make sure to shower 2x when going home.

Wow une des plus belles plages près de Montréal. En 1:30h vous s’y êtes s’il n’y a pas trop de gens aux douanes. Il faut donc partir tôt en matinée!:) La plage est propre,très grande et le sable est parfait pour la baignade. Il y a de l’eau au niveau de la taille pendant plusieurs mètres. Il y a aussi un petit bar avec de très bon cocktails et une ambiance de Sud 🌴☀️ il y a une épicerie (Hannaford) à quelques minutes de la plage pour s’acheter de quoi boire et manger. Les chiens sont acceptés. Bref, j’y suis allé plusieurs fois cette été et j’y retournerai encore souvent! Je vous conseille fortement cette endroit. Ah, et dernière choses il y a un camping juste avec côté avec accès à cette plage.

Woow début septembre meilleur moment pour aller il n'y avait pas beaucoup de gens. Très belle plage j'ai marché et baignade froide et rafraîchissante.

I was underwhelmed. Nothing too special about this place. It is often very packed and difficult to find a place on the beach. You also have to pay 16$ CAD for parking. However, when it gets less busy and the sun starts setting, it is quite pretty.

Convenable et convivial. Tout près de Montréal et rive sud. Stationnement 12$ pour la journée. Payable à la borne par carte ou via une application en ligne. Casse-croute, crème glacée, bar. Belle plage supervisée avec life gards. Camping adjacant.

My favorite beach around the Canadian border, it is very clean, well staff, overall amazing!

Last time I was there I had a Karen/Kyle call the city 🚓🚔 because they cannot stand that I parked my scooter by the closed restrooms hurting nobody. They were so mean and vindictive, they even lied to the dispatcher to invoke a more immediate police response. Officer Parotte was cool and he knew that the complainant had a stick up their butt and we all left without incident. So just be advised there are vindictive people who will call the police for no reason other than to be a jerk. So please just do your best not to upset any miserable 🧌 s

Wide beach, there are many restrooms, clean water and warm enough to swim, there are many waves at special days… nice to do windsurfing and kitesurfing.
