It's a great place to stop in and get perfectly cooked classic country diner food. The ribeye was so soft it melted like butter when you took a bite, and the onion rings had a nice crispy crunch without being hard to chew. The staff were so cheerful and lent to the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Love the wall art!
It's an older restaurant, but they serve good portions and good food. Our waitress could have been more friendly and attentive, but she wasn't rude. I do find it ridiculous that they add 15% tip for to go orders. Just a tip, it's best to pay cash or they will add a service fee.
Been at this location several times. Service is always fast and friendly. Great place for brunch. Food is always great and cooked perfectly
Wow I have been wanting to come to this place for awhile, kind of stayed away because of the location and how far it is from me but I was in the area and this place rocks! The interior is kind of out dated and I noticed the ceiling covers are all dirty but this place has really good customer service, our waitress was very nice and checked up on us multiple times, has a genuine attitude on deriving us. The food tasted good and our order came out to our specs! Wow I will be coming back for more in the future.
What a gem! Found Pioneer on Google and not disappointed. We came here the morning of the Big 12 Championship. Place was full but we were seated immediately. Our waitress was so cordial and helpful. One of her associates also jumped in to assist us when our primary waitress had a table of 9 seated next to us. I ordered biscuits & gravy and they were outstanding. Fluffy biscuits with a delicious white gravy. Also threw in a short stack of pancakes that were excellent.
Best part of our meal was the service. We didn’t wait on anything. Everyone was so pleasant and timely. Highly recommend Pioneer when you’re in the area or passing through the Metroplex.
Flavor was bland. Portion size was stingy for the price. I could have stayed home and cook breakfast that tastes better than this. Fish was overcooked. They laid a slice of cheese on top of the omelette and it didn't even melt.
This was a review find on Google and Yelp and we were NOT disappointed!! This is a HIDDEN GEM!! Been here for 40yrs. You might think that they could slack after that long….NOPE! This was the busiest place we ate breakfast all week. The server (Brandy) was helpful with the menu and explained all options even telling us how we could make the cream gravy sausage gravy is we wanted it. The corned beef hash was so flavorful, and the eggs were a perfect over medium just how my daughter asked for them. My eggs were perfect as well, and my hash browns were more crispy as I had asked. The buttermilk biscuits were HUGE and homemade and had a great fluffy light texture that almost fell apart but held up amazingly to the grandma’s cream gravy!!! I see why now the gravy does not have sausage……it does not need it!!! I asked for a bit more gravy since the order comes with two massive biscuits and she happily got me some more. This is a wonderful place that went directly to the top of our list for the week.
Our breakfast was fantastic. Love the Belgian waffle and the sausage patties. Omelettes are great. And Molly is the best server of all time!
