Palmer House Motel - Featured Reviews (149)
This was one of the worse experience I’ve been through, this motel was our last resort. All hotels were booked . Guys I felt iffy as soon as I saw this motel , I texted my bf that had got off to book it . & told him I don’t feel safe here . Hee had already gotten the key . When I telll yall the door wouldn’t even lock . Soon as I stepped in . The smell the hole room looked like a horror movie . I kid you not . I was about to have a meltdown that when I wanted to sit down I saw the chair oh hell no I powerwalked outside . This place needs to be torn down !!!! So filthy !!!
If you need a spot to nap ir . This is ok. Best thing is rooms have Direct TV with Showtime.
If I'm being honest, this motel needs to be torn down and entirely rebuilt. The rooms are so old that they look like nothing has ever been remodeled. It looks like these were built in 1900. The old carpet and flooring was sticky, our shoes were sticking to it. There were cigarette burn holes in the chairs and comforters even though we had a non-smoking room. The light fixtures were completely rusted, the fridge and microwave didn't work. The lamp was broken and the lamp shade was torn. There were beard shavings in the top of the bathroom faucets. There was also a smell in our room. Luckily we only needed a bed, shower, and toilet for the night, so we weren't there long.
The Palmer House Motel has a great staff. The manager is a great person to know. He is friendly and he will help you for whatever reason that you want his help for. The rooms are great they do accept dogs and cats and that is what we want when looking for a place to be at a time when you need a place to live.
First off I wasn't staying there I was visiting a friend, so I couldn't believe how much she paid for THAT GROSS room. The toilet leaked at the ring in the floor, the bed was not in any way sleep worthy, the sheets were stained and the mattress 🤮 I seen the bed bugs with my own eyes, i told her to pack up she's coming with me!!! The mold the overall SMELL of the room made me gag, I wouldn't stay here there was a blizzard with below zero temps and the heat was not able to be controlled so it was on or off that's gotta be a fire hazard. The whole place is a fire hazard and a huge explosion just waiting to happen. The peoples that own it, manage it, work there should all be terminated for letting people stay in a possible condem worthy place!
No this is not the Hilton but it use to be an okay place to stay. Now I'm here staying again ( we are subs) and I can't even get a cup of coffee before we go to work. 3 different people told me 3 different times that coffee could would be available. I asked 15 min before her time if she could please make a pot of coffee and she replied " No,it's not time and I don't make the rules". So if you want a cup of coffee DO NOT STAY AT THE PALMER HOUSE IN SIOUX CITY IOWA!!!!
Basically it's a disgusting hotel to rent a room from and the weekly rates are out rages when they are bed bug infested and the rooms are disgusting and the carpets are disgusting in the rooms out there at the Palmer house hotel and the good things are there's a car repair shop right next to it plus a few restaurants and other business and a grocery store and gas station across the street from the Palmer house so it has its good promps but other than that it needs to be shut down and either fixed up or torn down Cause I wouldn't even let my kids stay there or my pets like a dog or any kind of pet
Tear it down or serious renovation is needed it's too bad ..this place has alit if possible potential
Anne was absolutely amazing from the first time I spoke with her, through the duration of the 8 weeks. When my Daughter was awarded a Summer Internship and we were responsible for finding housing for 8 weeks in Iowa, to say I felt over whelmed was a
I've never had a bad experience there from my early childhood memory when it was a movie theater, to musicals, to concerts, and the symphony. The staff are very professional and it's even nice to come back and see their familiar face!
I was in town for a month, Abby and the team have created an amazing environment that is friendly, motivating, and challenging. Every coach I worked with was focused on form and safety. Itâs been more than a year since I had last done CrossFit, Coa
9/8/23 Last night in Sioux City, Iowa and thought I would try something different, I had never eaten Indian cuisine before. The restaurant is lovely and intimate with kind, courteous staff. After patiently explaining the dishes to me I confidently ord
