Palazzo Lakeside Hotel - Hotel in Kissimmee - 4944 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, USA

I want to start by saying there's no way all these good reviews are real reviews. Place is seriously run down photos do not represent the room correctly. The breakfast bar is literally Hawaiian rolls white bread oatmeal and carrots and broccoli not kidding. I don't even know where to begin. Arrived at 10:00 p.m. went to our room to get in the bed. The sheet look like they have not been changed a few times. Went to the front desk and there was another gentleman complaining at the same thing. Not only were the sheets dirty there were no towels no wash rags. Two hand towels only in the room. The two guys at the front desk were very apologetic. Could not find any sheet sets. End up having two flat sheets and using a blanket I had in my car. Stripped and made the bed myself. They said the laundry service people did not leave any extras of anything. If I could have found another room I could afford I'd have been gone right there. Was the most miserable night in a room I've ever had. Next day went to speak to the manager said they cannot compensate me at all but they could send someone to totally redo the sheets. Was given the email shown in the picture to contact. Never heard a thing back from management.

Worst hotel ever! Beware of staying there. I don’t know how this hotel got the four and five star reviews. If there is a below zero rating, I would give it to the hotel. They make you wait until 4:00 pm sharp to check in, although we requested early check in when we booked. At 4:00 pm, the lobby was full and people were frustrated. There was more remote for the television in the room, employees at the front desk were rude. There was a weird smell in the alleys. And the water was suddenly cut off for an hour or so. We stayed there for two nights, no one cleaned our rooms. Power outlets were old and looked awkward and scary. What a waste of money. Worst hotel experience ever. Don’t book a room there. There are plenty of better options. I stayed there with my boyfriend from Jan. 15 until the 17th, and the reservation was under his name. I will ask him to share the same review.

We came down to FL. From MA. A day early and we needed to find a room for the night. This hotel was clean , inviting and the staff were very nice. The price was good and the rooms were clean. Seems to have happy people staying here, which was a nice re-fresh of dealing with sub-par humans at other locations. When I plan another trip …. This nice place will be in my thoughts.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on the first of January, lovely Christmas decorations were still in place. Very secure, has electric gates that open only for guests. Nice kept grounds, lounge chairs under white canopies by the lake, playground for children, pool and a large lawn chess. Nice hot breakfast included, served in a clean well organized dining room. The room we stayed in was the lowest priced they had, but it was very comfortable, don't know if the building is new but the room looks new, spacious, well lit, no old germy carpets. Overall good service, they don't automatically refresh your towels or bed, but will bring them to you upon request. And the price have no comparison in the area for what you get in return!!!

Why to stay here: *AMAZING lakeside view *Good, free continental breakfast *Pool *Lunch and dinner can be ordered from a menu and delivered to your room *Conveniently located close to Disney and Universal - the bus stop for Magic Kingdom is right outside the hotel *Nice lobby and friendly check-in staff *Lower price than other hotels However, some things to know: *When you check in, there’s a $25/day deposit required. *The rooms are fine, but they are extremely stingy on towels and the wall outlets are weirdly placed. *It’s very loud in the hallways, and they blast the lobby music at all hours, including through the night.

I’m now staying at the hotel (for few days now), and I’m amazed by all the things they offer. First of all, the location is PRIME! So beautiful right on the lake, close to everything without breaking the bank! (Also, Disney bus station right outside the hotel) The staff are lovely and kind! The atmosphere is warm and loving. At the hotel you can find a guest laundry, really nice breakfast, play room for the kids with PlayStation and lego (my daughter really likes it), the front desk is very attentive and the room has everything you need and is very spacious. We are having an amazing experience (in combined with Disney) and had to recommend about this great place <3 Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality, see you in our next visit ♥️

I emailed and allowed staff to know I would be arriving after 10pm for check-in. Pablo was prompt via email and asked when. I told him approx 10:30pm. When I arrived, a lady had fallen on wet tile due to staff not mopping up rain drug in from outside through the hall. They didn't know where a first aid kit was, or ice packs. I explained to them that I am a Nurse if she needed help, I could get ice from the machine if they told me where it is. They said no. Something was happening with the computer. I was in line about 20 minutes by this time. I was ready to lay down and go to sleep after walking miles at two Disney parks with my 9 year old daughter. The front desk would not allow me to stay even though my bank had already paid the room fee in full. He said they need to have a $50 hold on my card in case there are any damages. I did not have $50. I explained the rental car already had a hold. He refused to call the manager to see if there was anything that can be done. There was a lady next to me calling me insane and telling the staff to throw me out. He told me to just go. Go where? When I spent my last money on this place to stay. I ended up driving three hours to my family, in the rain, which is what I wanted to avoid. I read about the bad reviews, just did not believe them. Don't waste your time with this hotel! Also, they would not refund my money even though they would not allow me to stay. Police were called and stated it is a civil issue since the hotel manager is unavailable and front desk cannot give refunds.

General Rating 3 star as I believe it's fair based on my experience here. Room rating 3: The rooms were decent, washrooms were good, however in both rooms I stay in had insects. Ants in the first and in the second bed bugs. If I am eating this objectively. Service: service was really good aside from my first engagement with the staff over the phone, aside from that the general manager and partners here are extremely helpful and accommodating. This is what really made the stay forgive the shortcomings of the accomodations. Location: close to places to eat and shop. Not bad at all relatively central depending on what you have planned. But it is convenient, close to an Aldi's for families that need to grab essentials, lots of eats in the area.
