Had a 20 minute wait on a game-day, Saturday night for a group of seven people. Thats amazing! Excellent beer and delicious food. Service was attentive and fast for the food. The beer was slow so a reorder at half glass will be your best choice. Restaurant/Brewery is kept up well inside and out. Very clean restrooms as well. Large parking, but I have seen it full in the past. This is always a destination when in State College.

Fun atmosphere, good food and still-trying staff. Our server was kind, but less than attentive. The Cobb Salad is a must for salad lovers, full of delicious and fresh flavors, side note upgrade to the grilled chicken, the cold chicken that comes with, is chewy and tastes like the pre-packaged stuff McDonald’s uses on their chicken salad, also taste the balsamic dressing before pouring over the salad, it tastes more like Italian than Balsamic. Hubby gives high recommendations for the Cheesesteak sandwich, he said it was excellent! His Slab Creek IPA and Seasonal Pumpkin beers were average as was my Pinot Grigio. You probably should just skip dessert, they were out of the apple pie that my Husband wanted so we both ordered the brownie al a mode. The brownies tasted like old oil was used in making them, once the ice cream and whipped cream were eaten, the brownie was inedible. For the most part, it was a nice meal out, but these people could use some hustle.

For over 20 years, Otto’s has been dishing out good and relatively inexpensive pub grub along with their solid in house beers. Having come back for the first time in 20 years, it was good to see how they’ve expanded and how many things are the same. We enjoyed our food - sure the sweet potato fries weren’t fresh (cold and overdone), but the pizzas were, and the appetizers very not bad. Beers were good - new ones, beers on the cask beer engine, and old classics. Recommended. Service was very friendly!

My friend Alyssa recommended I tried the black and blue bacon burger with asparagus on the side. She was right it was awesome. Definitely, the best waitress in State College. Definitely, the best BLACK & BLEU BACON BURGER. Thank you … I will be back!!

Otto’s is a State College 5 star. With limited restaurant options in the small town, Otto’s is a great spot to grab a quick bite. Their beer is brewed in house and I have to say, it is crisp and tasty! If you’re thinking about an appetizer, get the spinach artichoke dip with the pub pretzel. Their Cobb salad is delicious full of fresh lettuce and healthy ingredients. My husband got a buffalo chicken wrap. He said it was good but a buffalo chicken wrap is the same everywhere you go. Overall, the beer was the real show stopper of our lunch. We recommend the Spruce Creek Lager.

Ottos is a great brewery and the food is delicious. I got the blackened steak wrap. It was a little bit disappointing to me, due to a lack of sauce. But usually their food is good. The beer cheese is tasty as well and was only $1

Nice pub & atmosphere. The staff at the hotel we stayed at recommended this place. Our table got the Ahi Tuna Salad, Hogonator Pizza & a regular cheese pizza as well as the Bella's Rum Sunset. Food was decent!

Otto's is fantastic! Great place to catch a game or bring the family for dinner. Everything here is delicious and well made. Their beer is great - highly recommend the Spruce Creek Lager and the Hefe. They do allow samples as well! Food wise, they have a nice sized menu and the food is so, so good! Have tried multiple things, but the Mac and Cheese and Fish Tacos stand out the most. Love the decor and history on the inside - really cool history from PA Beers represented. Definitely check out the merch shop as well! Overall, love coming to Otto's in Happy Valley!
