Some may feel otherwise, but I love these attractions. Especially when reasonably priced like this one. Places like this make you feel like you're walking back in time. You can almost feel the energy of those left behind. The tour operator was very knowledgeable, and everyone else was very pleasant. I also love that it's not one of those tours that forces you to keep it moving. While they do move you along, you have plenty of time to look and explore. We went during a holiday week, so parking was a challenge. Other than that, we loved it!
We had so much fun learning and seeing the history of this old jail. Our guide, Benny, was great. He was informative and funny. The main fact that stood out to me was that it closed in 1953 without ever having running water. It also has the first finger printing kit in the state of Florida. It’s 16.99 a person, and it’s slightly kid friendly. They do talk about hangings and the gallows (it is an old jail after all). There are graphic images of hangings that took place there, but there is a warning sign before you enter that room. It isn’t a part of the guided tour. It is not wheel chair accessible. A lot of the areas are tight and the stairs are steep.
The old jail was great. Very informative, too. We went on the haunted night tour. I would highly recommend it. The tour guides REALLY get into their Job, we loved it. I took a picture of the jail tour guide and he looks a little freaky if you ask me. Ken 😎
I HIGHLY recommend this tour! When going over the museum and attractions options for our trip, this one really struck my interest. I'm so glad we visited. Lottie was an incredible tour guide, and super entertaining. We learned a lot, saw a lot, and heard a lot of stories. What an interesting place. Can't wait to come back! Do yourself a favor and don't Google what the big birdcage was for 🤫
We had so much fun today visiting the jail!! Patrick our prisoner tour guide made it so much fun and so informative. Really made us feel like we were apart of the experience! He did a great job!!!
Our guide was William. He was able to get the group brought together and have fun. He was able to make it a 1 of a kind experience. He was able to keep our attention and even the attention of my 3 year old and 10 year old! Great history in the old jail and love being able to hear about it all! The ticket for the tour guide measure was part of the trolley ride! I do recommend the trolley ride also!
Lottie made the tour incredibly enjoyable with her fun and enthusiastic guiding. The experience, lasting about half an hour, was delightful. Thank you Lottie you were awesome…❤️🥰🌎
A very enjoyable experience and very informative. Our guide was very interactive and made the tour very fun. My wife and I enjoyed it and it was a great introduction to the ancient city.

I have been to St Augustine many times but never ventured to the south end of marine street. Really enjoyed reading all the plaques along the street. Seeing the cannons and reading about the rich history of the city and the barracks was something spe
The complex includes a beautiful courtyard and different exhibits in multiple buildings. Very enjoyable tour led by knowledgeable and friendly guides. It amazes me how sometimes you pay so little for such enriching, entertaining experiences.
It was a wonderful experience atop the light house. One has to climb up more than 200 stairs but the view from up there is worth it. We went there on a Thursday and the place had a decent amount of crowd. It has multiple museums mentioning the histo
Super! So much interesting history and very interactive! Kids enjoyed earning coins to spend in the gift shop. Would recommend this to any one young and old!
This place is magical. It takes you back in time. Shows you wooden objects and various other things. Glassware and statuesque photos of time when it was in the early stages of a state. Recommend if you are in the area. Only a few hours to go throu
Went to St Augustine for a quick try and picked this place last minute. And it was perfect. It surpassed my expectations. Room and decor are amazing. Independent access to your room and parking is included. Walking distance to the main attractions in
We went to the beach to watch the sunrise and then wanted to stop for coffee and breakfast before heading home. Driving down King rd., I was able to see the neon Open sign on their window. I turned around and went back and parked in front of their
A new favorite place for us!! We're on a progressive meal crawl. Something we do when we come here. We ordered the fried clams meal and it did not disappoint! ðð»ðThe clams were very fresh and huge. Fried in a light flavorful batter - not gre
Great little spot. Stopped in for my first time and had the Asada Bowl. Solid little bite of food, I must say. Good choice of hot sauces for the dips. The staff was very personal and welcoming.
We loved staying at journeys in. It had absolutely everything we needed! Some of those being a coffee machine, filtered water, umbrellas, toaster, makeup wipes, 2 TVS, and accessible power points. It was clean, big and well kept. It was just great I
I recently completed training/certification with Sea Hunt Scuba. Steve is an OUTSTANDING instructor, on the first day he evaluated me in the pool and he made adjustments to my gear to make it more streamlined and efficient. He didn't just do the wo
Great rock climbing gym! Great vibe here that I really enjoyed. They have many great walls and individual climbs for all skill levels, some are definitely more of a workout then others as well. The little restraunt connecting it is very delicious and
Super friendly staff welcoming us dropping in from out of town. Facility is really clean and I loved having the open gym hours available for us to do whatever we wanted. Love the high ropes! Also very clean.
My wife and I toured St. Augustine for the first time and stayed at the Cedar House for our anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better location. We were within walking distance to all of the major attractions in the historic district and thoro
