Enjoyed every bit of my stay here! Room was very clean and smelled good. The space accommodated me, my Mom, my sister and my niece. We had a great oceanfront view, was everything we were hoping for. Breakfast was a 8/10 and great eating area! Staff is 10/10 in my opinion they were very helpful especially the woman that was bringing the food out for us and singing. Pools and hot tubs were very clean and plenty of seating. Loved the corn hole! Easy access to beach. Thank you for your wonderful services! I will be back!

August 24-31 My girlfriend and I of 6 years decided to take this beach special with Monterey Bay Suites. We looked online at location, viewed photos of the rooms and were pleased with what we saw and read. Now, here is what took place. When we stepped into our room, immediately I had to use the restroom. Walked into a bathroom with just A Sink, bath/shower combo and toilet. Notice I said A Sink. No counter or vanity. Next, the kitchen. All the pipes underneath the sink were in full view. No cover. Took a while to locate pots and pans which were located under stove in drawer. The bulk of the shelves were empty. No phone to call front desk. lighting in dining room was poor with beat up furniture which probably came from a yard sale. After a while of complaining to staff, they finally switched us to another room which had some improvement. Still, no phone, no safe, poor lighting and poor accommodations. Come to find out some of the rooms are privately owned while others are owned by the hotel. While checking out, my girlfriend and I had words with the female manager. Not good. My opinion. If this outfit had a good manager, then none of these problems would be existing. This was by far the worst managed hotel that I have ever stayed out.

Our recent stay last week could have been better. Started off; we have a service dog and the staff and security guard told us twice we could not have a dog there while we were waiting on our room, which was an hour late of being ready. Staff needs to be educated on Service Dogs. Get into the room; it smelt horrible, the fridge was not clean on the outside & was rusted. The shower curtain was falling off of the shower hooks and had ragged edges all the way around it. No dish towels, 1/2 roll of toilet paper. You had to keep the room freezing to keep the dampness off of the floors. Lots of things were broken around the facility; outdoor showers, flowers falling out of the flowers pots, vending machines did not work. Parking garage was very small and not meant for any trucks. Could barely pull in and out without scraping your truck. Parking spaces could barely get into. Definitely will not be returning.

This hotel does not have parking to accommodate trucks, vans and large SUV's. The garage is very tight with small parking spots and very narrow pathways to the upper floors. We scratched the front of our truck trying to get out of the garage. There are a few spaces on the bottom level. but not enough to accommodate the volume of large vehicles. The breakfast was not as good as the website made it look like. The room was old (not updated) and didn't look as nice as the pictures on the website. The air conditioner in the living room was not working. It didn't cool even when left on the lowest setting. There was a constant whistle with wind coming in around the windows that needed to be sealed. The shower head did not allow enough water to flow through it to be able to rinse while showering. We paid for housekeeping services every day we were there and not one time did a housekeeper give service to our room. We took out our own trash and had to get clean towels from the front desk. There was no broom or vacuum in the room and after a few days there was so much sand on the floor it would get in our beds from our feet. We tracked down a maid and asked for her broom and swept our own floor. The pool area is not kid friendly. There are way too many blind spots with the layout. You cannot keep an eye on your child at all times due to the crooks, turns, curves and pillars. The elevator situation was a nightmare!! It took an extremely long time to get an elevator. Elevators were very hot and smelled bad. The posted inspection information on the elevators showed they had not been inspected since 2018, six years ago. Is that even legal?? One of the elevators was not working most of the time we were there. The website advertised a pool side bar. There was a small shack near the pool, but this was not a place to get a drink and was closed most of the time we were there. It also advertised a Starbucks, but we didn't see this while we were there. We will not return to this hotel, and we hope this review will prevent someone else from experiencing the aggravation we delt with.

If you’re on the fence for this hotel, stay at this hotel. I don’t normally leave reviews but in this case I will. The rooms were nice, we had an ocean front king suite and it had enough space for me and my family. The pools were kept clean. Breakfast awesome, it’s something different daily. Very delicious. The staff were friendly and polite. Always asked if we needed anything. Serviced the rooms daily. Parking can be a little tight but if you take time it’s fine. Being on the very top floor, it had an amazing view. The only con to the top floor is the elevators. But not really complaining there considering how many guests stay at the hotel. We had to leave early for a family matter, they took care of us very well. Will definitely stay there again.

Great location! The hotel room itself left very little to be desired. Our floors were always wet, nothing dried in that room, everything stayed damp and smelt moldy. The air conditions were very noisy. You always knew when someone was in the shower whether it was our room or next door, since it was very noisy. All of the appliances had some sort of damage. We couldn't use the Murphy bed, since it was broken and smelt like mold. The beach view was awesome, but the balcony furniture was very dirty. The dresser was dirty and broken, since some of the drawers would open by themselves. The dining room table was very wobbly, so if someone put their arms on the table it would lean to one side. With updates this place would be great. Unfortunately we will be a family that would not return.

The staff was helpful and nice and easy to get along with. Is right on the beach with easy access to the water. The parking garage had spaces everyday for us to use however is extremely tight and very low ceilings. Wouldn't venture inside in anything much bigger than a mid SUV. The entire hotel is just outdated and worn. Could have and should have been much cleaner. All the floors were disgusting. Would not walk without shoes even inside our hotel room. The living room furniture was beat to death and clearly old. The refrigerator had huge dents in the door. We had to turn the knob to our room door and shoulder charge it to get it open. I can say for certain that I will not stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed staying here. The room was very clean. We had what we needed. It was plenty of room for us. Great access to the beach. The Pools were very nice. It was in a good convenience spot for us for what we wanted to do. The only thing that was tough was if you have a larger vehicle Parking is a little rough or sketchy sometimes. Would definitely stay again.🚗

Loved the pool, loved the area. Apartment was ok.. but definitely not what we paid for. We paid for a 2 bedroom w balcony. We got a studio on bottom floor. Notified them of the error & showed our receipt and still had to pay more to get the 2 bedroom
