Waitress was wonderful, food was delicious, nothing like home cooked meal.

We have been eating here for about 10 years now. The staff is as friendly as they come and The dressing is the best plate! If your in the shoals area be sure to stop by some some amazing country cooking!

I was taking my wife on an anniversary trip for our 1st date (40 years ago) and I saw the reviews of this southern cooking testaurant and decided to give it a try. The menu was appealing and the food was excellent. They were serving all you can eat catfish, with the trimmings, on this Friday evening and we decide to get them and they were excellent. The place was nearly full of patrons and the wait wasn't bad comsidering the shortage of employees that everyone is experiencing. The highlight of the dining experience was the desserts, they have an extensive list and they are unbelievable! The pineapple casserole was as good as any dessert that I have ever eaten, but the desserts topped it! Amazing and filling!

Good ol' Southern cooking at it's finest. Mamma Jean's has some of the best country-cooked food around town. Their hand-battered okra and hush-puppies are worth a trip from anywhere in the Tri-cities. The home-made tartar sauce is an excellent pairing with any of their meals. The restaurant can be packed during the day and the food takes longer than normal to come out, even for restaurant standards. The best feature of Mamma Jean's is there special phone number that plays the menu for that specific day of cooking. You'll never leave hungry at Momma Jean's

Food is very inconsistent. Something as easy as a baked potato are either over cooked or not done. Last 2 orders were missing items.

The service and atmosphere was really nice, loved our waitress. However, the food was not up to our standards. We suspect that everything we ate was frozen or store bought, it did not taste or look homemade at all. Some redeeming qualities, nevertheless, the chicken fingers were the most edible item on the menu, and the rest was subpar at best. I'd just recommend waiting at a cracker barrel

I absolutely love eating here. Truly some of the best southern food I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The women that work there are the friendliest around. The fish plate is honestly the best thing you can get. For me and my fiancé we typically spend just under $20 for the 2 of us to eat. I will always go back so long as they stay open.
