Modern 41 Motel - Motel in Franklin - 9375 S 27th St #9162, USA

Dumpy, dirty and very invasive staff. I paid for 2 days but left after 1 day. Wasn't refunded for the second day. Would stay away from here and all the nearby motels in Oak Creek. They are worse than the typical sleazy motels you expect for the money. Employees act like they own you because you are staying there. No receipt either. Oh and won't rent to people who don't have a car with them. Stupid policy.

DON'T PAY CASH IN ADVANCE!!||Was going to stay a number of weeks and given a weekly quote and being a holiday weekend they said I had to pay for full week but they would credit me for the short week the next week. Returned for the 2nd week but the lady refused to credit money from previous week for nights not stayed as we had agreed to. The lady said they can't do it that way and denied ever saying that. Paid cash and wasn't given a receipt so had no way to prove it so left to go to a different cheap motel up the road, there's lots of motels on 27th. I told people I worked with about the rip off and some said they stayed there while working in the area previously, they also paid cash up front for a week and got ripped off the same way. I suspect the cash payment is for more than ripping off guests, I'm sure they put the full amount in their pocket and "forget" to report it as income to avoid taxes.||Accommodations are dated but OK, no bad smells in room, no wifi, no cable, very small bathroom with smelly water. I put up a DO NOT DISTURB sign while at work during the day but every day they were in my room as some of my things were moved. Thin walls so you hear every conversation, cough, fart and other noises from rooms next to you as well as what they're watching on tv. Also suspicious activities in a few rooms away from main street with different male visitors coming and going, one at a time, through the night, probably the reason there's a porn channel added to the non cable/over air tv service. The outer screen doors on rooms slam shut so woke up every time anyone in rooms close by came and went. Guests can park right in front of their door so you hear everyone's car engines and doors as they come and go. ||My suggestion is if none of this bothers you, don't pay in cash and get a receipt that states actual nights you paid for so you won't get ripped off.

Literally some of the best owners. They were so kind to me and really went out of their way for me. It was an unforgettable experience and 3 years later I still remind myself of their hospitality. Respect them and they respect you. Stay humble and know they genuinely do have compassion.

I would suggest driving past this place the management is absolutely horrible the owners are on site and there's a crazy lady that runs around watching everybody to make sure that there is no unwelcome guest she makes comments she fights with her husband on site very low-class place I would not recommend it for anybody they should close the place down. My sister and her husband were staying there I came over to visit after work the lady accused me of trying to stay there said she had her eye on me that she wasn't stupid she knew what was going on. So I never went back to visit my sister

small rooms small bathroom cable tv without wifi internet and expensive is the first motel I saw until today in 2022 that it has no wifi but no good area for phone waves so I'm very disappointed

Water smells like fart in this area. Motel is spacious and clean. The price is right for the room. No soap included for your info.

Terrible customer service. Discriminated against a vet I was with at that time. Had rooms available but denied us a room. Terrible people. Definitely don't recommend this place

Overpriced for the quality u get. The heater was broken . They didn't clean the bathroom fully. The room in general smelt like grandma's house.
