If you love diner food then this is your spot! The service was fast we were seated quickly. Our orders came in a timely fashion and when I was not so thrilled by the homefries (I thought they would be sautéed with onions...) the chef offered a replacement- I chose grits! And boy, was I so happy I did. They were delicious. The eggs and turkey sausage were good. I tried the fried chicken wing with the waffles, and it was just as amazing. I was shocked when I saw half of chicken on the plate!!! Most places down 2 or 3 wings... this place shines. It was seasoned well, too. My fav part was the Strawberry Butter... took my Crescent French toast to the next level as if Crescent French toast isn't already NEXT LEVEL! lol. The environment is very family friendly and the employees were all kind. I'll be back for sure.

I went to Metro diner in huntersville and had a lovely experience. No wait time and the staff were pleasant and attentive. I had cheesy grits, French toast croissants, cinnamon roll pancakes, bacon and hash browns. The food was all good. The French toast croissants were a bit too eggy but the rest of the food was really good. Definitely a good spot on a Sunday for brunch without the flare and pretentiousness of brunch.

The shrimp and grits are very tasty. I don't usually have grits, but these were very cheesy and almost the consistency of soup with many large shrimp. It was a little spicy and delicious. Wonderful for a cold day.

My husband and I were looking for a new breakfast place and stumbled upon this gem! Everything about Metro Diner was amazing from the food to the service. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles. It came with a 1/2 of chicken (wing, leg, thigh, breast) along with the waffle. The signature strawberry butter was TO DIE FOR! I ordered the Cinnamon Roll Waffle, they brought my the pancakes by accident so it’s pictured as well! This was the best waffle I had in my life! All of the flavors worked well together and melted in my mouth! We will absolutely be back and you must go!

Most pleasant service I've had in a long time coupled with a variety of delightful dishes to choose from. I'm hoping to be back very soon. Definitely worth checking them out.

Fast and friendly service. Large portions, food came out within 10 min Lashon was our waitress and she was the best. The food was good, down home style. Kay was a great server, very attentive and friendly.

I ordered my first ever “turkey feast” I NEVER order out and I cook everything from scratch!! My daughter had major surgery so cooking this year was out of the question. I ordered and hoped for the best. To my surprise everything was great!! So Tasty, easy to heat, larger than expected portions too! I would recommend to anyone trying to enjoy the holidays more!
