Compared to other rec centers in surrounding areas, this one was a complete disappointment. It was dirty and the staff was not friendly Upon entering we were ignored by the front desk worker for about 5 minutes while she talked to one of the boy guests. Finally we got in the pool and could not find a spot for our 3 year old to actually swim without a life vest. We are trying to teach her to swim which was the point of visiting. The life guard had a very irritated and mean demeanor. When my daughter started crying about not being able to swim in the big pool with a vest she said “if she’s going to act like that just hold her while you’re in the water” rather than using a life vest. Not only was this incredibly rude but it also made me confused in relation to the rules. Either you need a life vest or you don’t. We opted out and spent our remaining time in the kiddie pool. Which had huge chunks of paint coming up from the floor. The locker rooms were dirty and the kids were out of control inside. For a place with so many rules, the whole thing was out of control. I absolutely would not recommend.

Rented the hall for a baby shower today!'wow if I could give a 0 rating I would!!! I walked into the place and it was filthy as hell! Bathrooms were full of poop🤢🤮. I had to go buy cleaning stuff and clean the place before quest came!! My gosh the cob webs were terrible!! Tax paying money for this?!! They had a week to clean that place up !! When I hand the key in tomorrow morning I want my money back!! I took pictures of the filth on the walls, toilet, everything!! You owe me money! I would never recommend renting this quetto hall. Sure makes massillon look bad!! Rude service as well. It looks great now after I spent 2 hours scrubbing the dirt off what I could get up. You are welcome massillon parks and recreation. You have nothing to do this week! Very pissed off !!

An absolute gem in Massillon! I appreciate that they haven’t raised their prices for day passes in at least five years. The lifeguards were so kind and the ladies upfront so so helpful. Thank you!

We took a tour, very nice facility. Clean, friendly and helpful staff, plenty of parking, a lot of options for your workout needs. So Happy to have this facility in our town!

This I was my first time at this facility. I brought my Grandson and we both had so much fun. The swimming area was very clean and well maintained. Lifeguards were exceptionally Friendly and very good at upholding the rules and keeping everyone safe. We will definitely be returning. Thank You!

Such a great place to take my kid on a cold snowy day when he wants to go swimming. And the price is just right considering he's 2 and were only there a couple hours. It's fun for adults too. I went to an over night event here in high school forever ago and it was the perfect venue. Lots of fun for all ages.

I have gone to the Massillon rec center for years. I had a medical emergency the other day. I called 911. I had four grandchildren with me. I could not get one employee to help me or my frightened grandkids. The manager for the Massillon Recreation Center and Parks, is not very good at his job. I plan on going to the next board member meeting and filing a complaint

We are extremely disappointed and annoyed. We waited an hour to get into the pool cuz they didn’t have like enough lifeguards for the capacity, only to find out the heater was broken so the water was freezing and there was no inflatables for the lazy river??? Because kids deflated them? How hard is it to reinflate them, or to tell people these things before they waste an hour waiting. They said “there was a sign on the door about the heater” but there’s also 18 other signs on the door. Not hard to mention it to people too.
